BenQTH671ST data projector Standard throw projector 3000 ANSI lumens DLP 1080p (1920x1080) White

I've upgraded from BenQ TK800M (which was my 1st PJ) to BenQ x3000i. Speaking frankly, I didn't expect such a "wow effect" from a new x3000i, as on the paper their specs are quite comparable. Of course, I was expecting upgrade, but not SUCH an upgrade! The brightness (even somewhat excessive), the contrast, the vividness, the colors - it was so obviously better, that my wife became worried that I spent a fortune for some kind of high-end projector, when she saw the picture.I'm projecting on 100" Silver Ticket High Contrast grey screen, 0.95 gain (STR-169100-HC), throw distance 3 meters (~9.8 feet) the same as viewing distance.One unpleasant surprise I realized during installation, is that the lens is opposite side from BenQ TK800M. I didn't want to make new holes in my false ceiling, therefore I had to maximize the mount arms' shift as much as possible to one side. Because of such a manipulation the center of gravity is screwed up, of course. So, I had a hard time to level the projector horizontally and vertically, as the whole weight should be held by the mount's washers. Anyway, I'm going to make a shelve for a better projector setup.

I own a TH585P as well, which costs much less.It's very similar but it does a lot more like 120Hz and 4K.Still have to run the calibration but I already see that is very close to the TH585P so I expect it can get to the same deltaE at around 4.Bit sad that the Benq monitors can support LUT transfer via USB with Calman and nothing, even basic control via RS-232, with the projectors.The rainbow effect is much less than the TH585P but still there of course.You must not be sensible to it so try it immediately once purchased; if it doesn't work for you send it back.I see some complaints about the "visible borders" around the image.That's the DMD chip which is bigger than the projected 1080p area.Nothing special, it's absolutely normal and expected in this price range.What is a bit sad is that you have the borders also laterally, which the TH585P doesn't have.This means that the projector could have also horizontal keystone and shift.Unfortunately something that must have been removed probably just for commercial reasons.What is also very odd is that Benq support doesn't know about it... they probably have not been trained properly.Never had to call them, luckily.In any case you stop noticing as soon as you actually look at the picture.Like all projectors you need a proper screen to enjoy it fully and in this case with the amazing SmartEco lamp mode, it will also prolong the lamp life.For this projector a screen like the ESMART Mirale, with big black borders, is ideal and recommended.

Davvero un ottimo acquisto, preso a poco più di 400 euro da Amazon Warehouse. Mancava il cavo HDMI, 20 ore di lampada.E' anche più luminoso di quanto pensassi, su telo per proiezione si vede benissimo anche con il salone bene illuminato.Calibrato raggiunge deltaE di 4,5 e le opzioni di calibrazione sono notevoli dato il prezzo.Non solo controlli Gamma e controllo RGB della temperatura ma un vero CMS RGBCMY.Meriterebbe 4.5 stelle ma più verso il 5 dato il basso costo.I difetti elencati nelle altre recensioni sono validi quindi tenetene conto prima di comprarlo:- Rumorosità: si non e' silienzioso in modalità normale. Ma non è un vero problema, non credo vi servirà. Ha modalità Smart in cui la lampada dura di più, il rumore va giù come in Eco, la luminosità si abbassa di poco (difficile ve ne serva di più in quasi tutti i casi), si adatta in base alle condizioni. E' ideale.- Zoom e Focus: davvero ridotto, ho dovuto faticare non poco per trovare la giusta distanza. Comunque il range e' quello classico, solo avete pochi centimetri per giocare avanti e indietro.- Risoluzione: adeguata, non è particolarmente nitido. Soffre come tutti questi sensori DLP di un alone blu che si vede bene su di una griglia bianca. All'uso pratico non si nota ma a paragone diretto si percepisce la leggera sfumatura. Più che accettabile a questo prezzo.- Effetto rainbow: si e' molto marcato rispetto ad altri proiettori DLP, da evitare l'acquisto se ne siete sensibili

Après plus d'un an d'utilisation, la qualité d'image n'a pas bougé. Le capuchon de protection de la lentille s'est casse très (trop) rapidement, du coup je ne peux plus la protéger quand le le range. Il me reste plus qu'à trouver une solution pour le fixer discrètement au plafond.
