Z-Tech Series 1A SFI 38.1 Certified Black One Size Fits All

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN FIRST SETTING THIS UP. I opted for this over some of the more expensive Hans or other devices. I really like this one. It seems to be infinitely adjustable to your neck, body type, angle, etc. Hans is not. The one gotcha is that when you are securing the bolts be very careful. They are aluminum and it is VERY easy to get them cross threaded. VERY easy. It happened to me and my buddy even being careful. Cross threading them will ruin them and they don't include extras. Minus a 1/2 star for Zamp not including one or two extra securing bolts. Otherwise, very comfortable during endurance racing.

Good product but did not include the helmet posts (ZTECH-NZHC001A) as advertised.

So far so good. I have a 19" neck and it fits, It is a little uncomfortable on the back of my neck, but that's typical for a fat necked fool like me..

This head and neck is excellent, and exceeded my expectations, it works great with my containment seat, my helmet and my belts. I'm very happy, I showed it to a few people and they loved it and at least one of them is buying one.

A good idea in lieu of the overpriced others on the market but it needs more development to be a good product. All the adjustability features would be great if not for small screws that aren't easy to get aligned. Mine had one screw that wasn't able to be removed due to misassembly from the manufacturer. If you use a 20 degree seat, as we do in our Super Stock dirt car, the holes drilled for them are impossible to align for the attachment screw to go in. It would take grinding on the back lower part of the arms or reaming out the holes with a drill to use those holes, something I wouldn't want to do on a safety item. I also found the back adjustable piece for neck size nice but very uncomfortable where it hits the back of the neck. Needs some sort of padding. I returned this item and will bite the bullet, again, on one of the high priced restraints. Hope the manufacturer heeds these suggestions cause they'll sell a ton of them if they do.
