A very nice photo book
The book gives a glimpse of what life was like in the 1960's. The photos are sharp and well composed

INSPIRING, WONDERFUL PHOTOS. The true feel of the 1960s
I have many photo books of 1960s Music and Culture but no other book of 1960s photographs have even come close to matching these. They capture the feel and the overall look of the Decade exactly. some iconic 60s Celebrities are included, The Beatles, Jane Fonda, Ursula Andress (probably the best photos taken of them) David Bailey and Jean Shrimpton among them but it's the places and events, Soho, Grosvenor Sq. Aberfan and amazingly Herne Bay among others that stand out, along with the brief chapters on Croatia, Greece and Italy. Thank you David Hurn and REEL ART PRESS for this book.

Why oh why do layout people think its a good idea to print a photograph over two pages
Why oh why do layout people think its a good idea to print a photograph over two pages? I wonder if they have ever bought a painting for their home and cut in two so they can hang it In a corner of the room thinking that they know better than the artist how it should be viewed. To do this to Hurn's images is an insult to him and the viewer. It's a disappointing treatment of Hurn's record of this countries best and most exciting decade in recent history and should be rewarded with P45's all round at the publishers.
