SAME UNIT as other brands, NO user manual, lacking support, but it DOES work.
The good: - It works with all my HD gear, where other HDMI switchboxes have failed, such as: Xbox One, Playstation 4, Amazon FireTV, AppleTV, etc. - It has a blue screensaver if no HDMI device is detected on that particular port.- Great price for this many portsThe bad: - CANNOT use PIP multi-stream live; it captures a low-resolution image and sticks it in the corner, disappointing. - NO user manual, leaving you to guess at what some acronyms mean or what certain features do. - I FOUND A USER MANUAL, sold by another company for this exact same unit but printed with another name label. - Absolutely no response from tech support whatsoever, after multiple attempts. The questionable: - I found out this unit and "brand" is actually the exact same part as resold by many other companies rebranded from the same company in China. Not that I care it came from China, it just means shop around!! You might find a better price for this exact same unit, with someone else's label printed on the cover, who care enough to give you tech support and the user manual (WHICH DOES EXIST UNDER OTHER NAMES, JUST SEARCH THE WEB). - Occasional glitch in surround-sound audio for a brief period, when first switching over, but then it's fine.Overall, works okay, but lost a star in my review due to initial frustrations with lack of user manual, lack of support, and finding out I could have bought it for a little bit less with a different name printed on its top cover from other "brands" of this exact same unit... and gotten the user manual and tech support included.

Working great for my application
Only had it on-line for a week. But it's doing exactly what I need it to do very well. Not only does it enable easy use of our DLP front projector. It effectively eliminates the need to own (and power on) a very expensive (and often problematic) HDMI receiver. And it provides 6 HDMI inputs. With the variety of video source devices out there these days (blu-ray, game consoles, AppleTV, chromecast, etc), having 2 or 3 inputs on a TV is just not enough. Our application:The front projector on the "A" output and the plasma TV on the "B" output. Wireless headphones are connected to the stereo out. A stand-alone AC3/DTS decoder is connected to the optical output from the matrix (audio follows the "A" selection). The great things about this setup:1) All connectors on the back. Some switches/matrixes I've seen have connectors on the side which makes placement difficult.2) The optical audio output. The receiver only needs to be powered on when using the projector with our setup (our plasma has good speakers so we don't use the receiver with it). But the audio going to the receiver follows input selected on the matrix. So there's no need to switch two different devices.3) It has front-panel buttons. So you don't always need to find the remote to operate the remote.4) It has prominent power/reset buttons on the front. I haven't really needed them before. But it's nice to know they're there and easy to operate.Only compliant is that the headphone output quality seems to be pretty poor. But I need to do more testing. I'll update this if I find out anything more.Disclaimer: I haven't tried to use ARC or CEC using this matrix. So I can't speak to how well those work.

Extremely Low Latency with a Simple Design
Today, I upgraded my home theater system from a largely analog setup (using VGA and component video) to an all-digital setup with this HDMI matrix. Setup is dead simple - plug and play. I appreciate the power switch on the front - saves from unplugging and reconnecting the power cord if I ever need to reset the device. I am a huge Rock Band fan, and I always am leery of adding layers of digital switching into the data path: they often introduce latency which affects the experience. I was extremely pleased with the low latency of this device. My previous audio latency, using optical audio straight from the Xbox 360 into the amplifier, was 58 ms. Pushing the audio via HDMI through this matrix into my amplifier added less than 15 ms of latency, which is basically negligible. Video latency also is negligible through this matrix. Blu-ray 3D video passes perfectly through this device. Excellent piece of equipment that I am happy to add to my home theater setup.

Picture quality is excellent and it passes up to 7
I've been using this for about a month and only have a couple complaints. For the price I don't consider any of them deal breakers. When the switch is turned to a source that's off it will display a blue screen. First of all its obnoxiously bright but it also keeps my TV from turning off automatically. Because the TV is receiving a signal from the switch it will stay on.Twice I've had to reboot the switch. Once because it stopped responding and another because it wouldn't show anything on output A.The IR receiver is slightly recessed so you have to be almost directly in front of it to pickup the commands. If you sit too far to one side it won't register the remote.Picture quality is excellent and it passes up to 7.1 channels of audio correctly. Switching between sources is quick and all of my components function normally. Again, for the price I can't complain a bit.
