Two units in the box. The device is basically a valve stem extension. If you look carefully at the picture or go to the Quarq site, you will see the top is a standard presta valve stem. If you are putting the TyreWiz on a tube, be sure the tube's valve core is removable. If not, you can not install the TyreWiz.

Q: Does this show on Garmin Connect Activity a fluctuation chart of air pressure of both tyres during riding?

Yes you can get your tire pressure for front and rear tires. The data is in similar format as heart rate or temperature. You will need the quark tyrewiz app on you garmin edge device. Also you will use the SRAM app on your phone to copy the pairing code to your garmin connect app. I run two bikes and copy the pairing codes from the SRAM app to garmin connect “quark tyrewiz” app whenever I trade bikes.

Q: Can these units automatically alert garmin unit if pressure falls below a number, whether the pressures are displayed or not?

Yes. It highlights the low wheel (per your settings in the TyreWiz app) on your Garmin. If I remember right it also moves to that page too, but I'm not 100% sure on this.
