Good product!
Strong material and comes in sizes for connections up to 10 gauge (perhaps a bit larger) wire.Needs heat close to 500f (260C), which should be in the range of most heat guns. One caution: Don't jostle the box with the lid open! The bins are very full and just large enough to hold their contents, so spill-over to other bins is very easy.A little clumsiness on my part resulted in 20 minutes of sorting, so learn from my mistake. :)

This Product saves money
The USB cable on my tablet had worn out. Before buying a new one -- and due to the low price of Eventronic's Shrink tubing -- I thought I should give it a try. Within 5 minutes (using the 45 mm sized tubing) I had the repair complete. I must say that I am so glad with the performance of this product and feel I can get a lot more use from the original USB cable that came with my tablet.

I never realized how many uses for this stuff there are
I have used way more of these than I could ever imagine. In addition to the intended RC / battery repair that i originally bought these for. I have used this in:- IPhone cord repair (the classic breakage at the plug in point)- Fixed several Airsoft Gun Accessories- Lego anntena repairsGreat stuff. Shrinks nice an evenly. Appears to be quite durable as well.If anything can be said. I wish I had bought the larger box with more sizes

Easy to use and versatile.
This is a great product. I bought it to fix electrical cords, but also used it to fix my eyeglass frame that had a crack in it. I put it on both sides to make both sides match. I just wish there was no writing on it, but I was able to make it face the inside of my glasses.

Good Variety
A pretty good assortment for the price. I needed some shrink wrap quickly for a project so this was my first choice. It has worked well for a variety of projects, between microelectronics and some higher power brushless motor stuff. Not much to say other than that... it's shrink wrap. Note that the shrink ratio is 2:1, as opposed to 3:1. Sometimes when I had to use a larger size to fit over a joint, I couldn't quite get the shrinkage I needed. Also note that each set (color) is a different diameter. Sometimes I wanted red for VCC and black for ground, but the different diameters wouldn't always work out. For some different gauge wires I would also get stuck with an odd color, like blue or green instead of the preferred red/black, and vice-versa when I wanted blue/yellow for signal wires. But that's the compromise you make for having a range of color and size in one kit. The only real difficulty I had with sizing was wrapping up one of the knockoff Arduino nanos: the 13 mm tubing just barely fit over the crystal resonators on the board.

Heat shrink tubing great, box terrible.
Heat shrink tubing, various colors, sizes. Shrinks nicely, uniformly, and grasps a wire quite well.Only quibble I have is the box...the closure flaps are already broken off, only after a few open/close cycles. Why can't these box manufacturers put a hinge on the latch, not just the flex plastic.Knocked 1 star off for the box.

Easy to use!
I soldered a broken wire in my Hoover Linx Stick Vac to make the brush turn again. The first time I have ever soldered. (You can tell by my clothes pin rigged holder. :) Youtube video showed me how. The heat shrink tubing was very easy to use. I just used the heat from the solder iron to shrink it. It was one option shown on the video if you didn't have a heat gun. Loved the heat shrink tubing. Better than wrapping in electrical tape.
