I have used this for years and it works great! Provides instant relief that lasts for hours But be very careful applying - you don't want to get it in your eyes. I use a disposable glove to apply it.

Why I bought it:During a recent hotel stay I managed to pinch a nerve in the base of my neck which caused severe, persistant pain all down my left arm and in my upper back and chest. After a visit to my chiropractor, he recommended using CryoDerm between visits.How I used it:Used in combination with a freezer gel pack and minimum doses of Tylenol (2 at a time, 2x per day), it is the only thing that gave me any consistent pain relief. The smell is pleasant to me, but only lasts for a short while though the effects last much longer. It gives a very cool/cold sensation that penetrates deeply. I was able to apply it then go in public within minutes without anyone even knowing I had put it on.How much I used:I bought this large bottle of it, but didn't need nearly so much for the time I went through treatment, which was about 6 weeks. I'd estimate that I used somewhere near a teaspoon's worth each time to do my entire arm, upper chest and back. I applied it several times per day, depending on the level of pain I was experiencing. A little bit truly goes a long ways.Is it a cure:It is not intended to be a cure, but it does offer relief which is what I was after.

Works quickly. Menthol smells are pretty strong, but works great.

A very excellent cold therapy gel, for all your joint(s) and muscle aches and pains. The best cold therapy gel I have been introduced to, and I am currently using. I am waiting for knee surgery, and have very bad chronic pain in my knee joint, and this gel has been the best topical pain relief product I have used so far. It really works. Very important though to READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THIS PRODUCT! I recommend that one use a latex or vinyl examination glove to apply this gel. Washing your bare hands thoroughly after applying the gel with your unprotected hand does not adequately remove the residual gel from your hands. And you don't want to be touching or rubbing your eyes, nose, mouth, or anywhere else as you will feel the just how strong the therapeutic effects of this gel really is. You have been warned! LOL! I love this product! I believe it provides longer lasting back pain relief than other menthol based products I've used. The only downside side is this doesn't come with a pump so I either make a mess getting it out or I end up getting too much product and struggle putting it back in the bottle.

This stuff works better then any I have used. It hits right away and it stays in effect. Unlike some others that wear of pretty fast. My only whine is that over the last 3 years the price has gone up WAY more then inflation. Just wish they could me a bit more reasonable about it, as I prefer to keep an extra on hand.

The product was packed nice and is a very impressive product.

This product works, it feels cold and tingly and seems to penetrate for hours. The only thing I would say if you are at all sensitive to fragrances, etc. I would wear gloves if you need to apply this to a large area. For example a leg or back because without gloves it tingles in your hands for hours too and I found that annoying.
