NOT QUITE ALL THAT IT'S CRACKED UP TO BE
The detailed info states that the perches are adjustable not only to keep squirrels away but also to allow the owner to keep larger birds from perching if he/she wishes to invite only small birds. Even with the perch setting at its most sensitive Bluejays and Blackbirds have no difficulty perching and chowing down. The adjustable spring-action does, however, keep the squirrels from perching. As soon as a furry fellow latches on his weight pulls the perch down and closes the food ports. So the claims are 50% correct and if you don't mind going through an inordinate amount of bird seed thanks to voracious appetites of Bluejays, the feeder is a good one.

I loved this..... at one time
I have had two of these feeders for 4-5 years with no squirrels !!! I was actually going to buy two more to freshen up the old ones as the clear poly plastic has discolored over the years ( yes i'm anal ) Well the grey squirrel's finally figured out a way to eat seed all day long out of them. They hang from the roof/hanger hanging over the one seed port and reaching to the other side with their claws from underneath and not touching the perch bar that closes the seed port. I can't believe they didn't figure this out a long time ago !On a side note the red squirrels that showed up in our neighborhood last year figured it out on "day one" but they didn't bother me as much as the 8-10 grey ones .... Grey squirrels don't like red squirrels and dont come around. The red one's dont eat nearly as much. They would just balance upright w/ one foot on the very inner part of the panel that close's off the seeds without making it come down over the seedsI'm am now going to buy a feeder called the " rollerfeeder " in my hometown . Google it . It looks foolproof on the video's . We'll see .

Not great
Not very happy with this feeder. Purchased last year and I should have returned it but I decided to give it a chance. These things are what is wrong with the one I purchased, the lever for stopping squirrels is very stiff and does not really work well. The adjustment for the lever doesn't really do anything at all. The seeds don't really fall into the portion where the birds can get them properly either.

Best Squirrel-proof feeder out there
I have bought two of these feeders in the past year. They are easy to fill, appear to be truly squirrel-proof, and the birds love them. What more could you ask for?
