New Retractable Rhinestone Bling Breakaway Lanyard Crystal Bling Badge Id Key Holder Required by Most Hospitals and Government Agencies! (Black)

Recently I decided I needed to carry a few more items on my lanyard. I have a key, my work ID and bus pass, and my flash drive. Since I am using the key all the time, carrying it around my neck was convenient, having to take my lanyard off several times a day when I had to use it was not. The retractable lanyand was the answer, and it is working great. This has enough hooks and clips for all my stuff, and I have gotten several compliments on the bling as well. :DJanuary 10, 2013 - So, I have to take back my initial review, which was 5 star. The first few weeks I used this lanyard it was wonderful. Unfortunately it completely fell apart after 5 weeks of use. Not only did the rhinestones start flaking off,the metal piece holding the lanyard to the badge holder etc. fell apart and could not be put repaired. Luckily I was sitting at my desk at work and not on the bus. The retractable key fob started falling off as well.The idea behind the design of this lanyard is still great. I think it would be okay for very light-duty use, perhaps someone with just a few nearly weightess items they seldom need to use, who can leave the badge at work and not need to throw it in a purse, or wear it back and forth on the bus. Obviously my heavy-duty usage wasn't suitible for this item.I am currently building a heavy duty version of this lanyard design for myself with individual componants made from much sturdier materials because the design was SO convenient.

... however...I didn't get what I'd ordered. the photo shows a removable belt lanyard, when in fact all you get is actually the necklace with a permanent id holder. Now, I will say that the pull is sturdy and the necklace looks nice. But it would be nice to actually receive the item advertised.

I loved this at first, then it kept falling off my neck. The breakaway part comes apart to easily. Then the rhinestones started falling off. But it is so inexpensive that I bought another, just not a breakaway this time.

The "breakaway" part of this doesn't stay together. I had to use electrical tape to hold it together so the slightest resistance didn't make it come apart.The rhinestones have been continuously falling off. Each time I put it in my pocketbook at the end of the day, I've got several more that have fallen off.I guess you get what you pay for. Don't waste your money.

Very nice looking, but it took no time before the beads starting falling off. Nice for about 2 weeks, then no good : (

I bought this for the lanyard, but ended up using the small retractable clip instead. I used this for over a year and it held up with daily use. A few of the rhinestones fell off from the edge after a few months, but it wasn't very noticeable with the black rhinestones. This is great for working in a hospital and lasted a long time.

This was a great christmas gift for the office staff. It has great versatility because you can remove the badge from the lanyard if necessary. It is beautiful and looks very sturdy.

Rhinestones didn't last long.

Very comfortable around the neck and the retractable works very well! Good purchase.
