Justified - Season 06

Loved this. Will watch again.

I was tempted for a few seconds to give it less than 5 stars but then just couldn’t. This show was one of the best that I’ve ever watched. Cast and crew members worked their butts off throughout all 6 seasons. Such a unique show! The lead actors that seemed to be born to play their roles in Justified. And wonderful supporting actors throughout all 6 season. Writers and directors that let their actors have a lot of say about what their characters would do and say - even if this made things somewhat complicated at times (according to audio commentaries). And as a viewer you could feel and enjoy passion, engagement and commitment of cast and crew. So 5 stars I had to give - I can’t blame these awesome actors, writers, directors, camera men etc. etc. for what Sony did with the blu-ray version of the final season. Sony would have had tons of material. And in the earlier 5 seasons cast and crew members obviously had fun with giving audio commentaries. And now this: the special features of the final season consist of a few deleted scenes and 3 short (but nice) commentaries. I was hoping for an additional disc at the least with special material – Sony deserves a kick in the you-know-what. I came across Justified only towards the end of Season 4 and became an instant fan. I’m a European customer which means that US blu-ray discs don’t play on our players and Sony A-locked some or all of the Justified seasons. Some or all - specifications regarding region codes on Amazon or in reviews are too unreliable and I had to stick to DVDs. They might cost less but jealously and with a sigh I would read the amount of special features that came with blu-ray editions. I suffered until “Justified season 5” and then I ordered a region A blu-ray player (and a current converter). And then, after successful testing of 1 region-A-locked disc I ordered the blu-ray versions of all Justified seasons. It was worth the money because now finally I could indulge myself also in the special features. But with season 6 Sony just didn’t care anymore. Ignorants!

Justified still stands as one of the written TV dramas ever. The cast fleshes out every character written from the most minor Kentucky hillbilly knucklehead to the major players in the drama. The creator Elmore Leanord will be missed, as his genius goes well beyond this series, but kudos to Graham Yost and his crew of writers, and of course every actor on the show. The entirety of the series from beginning to end shows how a connectivity of creative forces can come together to produce a true work of art.

This is one of the best Series I have seen in my 100’s of years on Earth. Sit Down enjoy a Betty Buzz and Grilled Cheese Sandwich on Non FuFu Bread and Relax and Enjoy.

I bought this for my parents they love it!

CD works as expected

I watched all six seasons and it is a good show. It will draw you in and for me, it was more enjoyable than Breaking Bad, which just about drove me into an institution because it was so nerve racking. Timothy Olyphant is excellent and all the supporting cast are very good. I would like to know who Walton Goggins' dentist is. He is one slick character. Of course, a number of families were killed off through the other seasons (I think one was somewhat based on a woman named Mag Bailey that was a bootlegger in Harlan decades ago. Nice lady.) and all these episodes had their merit, but since this is primarily a review of the sixth and final season, I liked it. I will not spoil it for you, but the last episode was not all that spectacular for me. Sam Elliott was in the final season as the bad guy. The last time I saw Sam was with Mel Gibson killing NVA in the I Trang Valley. Sam has all his hair, but looks like a dried up prune. At the end, they acknowledged thanks to Harlan Kentucky, because much of the series was set there. Well, I lived there long ago during junior high school years and it was disappointing because you seldom saw anything of Harlan. Most of it was shot in Pennsylvania, and I was hoping to see something I recalled in my youth. I can assure you, I will not go back. I did get out of Harlan alive

I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys action movies, stories cleverly told, with quirky characters, some of whom you will laugh about and some so cold-blooded, they'll make you uneasy in your easy chair. I'm looking forward to watching it again and again because there was so much going on the first time around. I want to see those characters deliver those great lines, especially U.S. Marshall Givens.

Bon DVD, bien découpé au niveau des scènes avec ou sans "what happened previously". Der des der de la série de six donc, série étonnante de densité, de coups bas, de retournements en tout genre, d'alliances et de trahisons, d'union sacrées. Timothy Olyphant est étourdissant de naturel doublé d'une fausse nonchalance qui s'enténèbre à la vitesse d'un éclair, tout comme son Glock...Tous les acteurs, mêmes les petits rôles sont à la hauteur, criant de vérité. Le mieux est de visionner en anglais, le phrasé, l'accent, les accents du Kentucky donnent une patine et un réalisme confondant. C'est jouissif, truculent même. On se retrouve en plein western, totalement dépoussiéré, et collé à son temps, il n'y a qu'à voir les portables ! Laissez-vous tenter par cette série hors du temps et en même temps ancrée dans notre quotidien, au moins pour les références et choses de la vie de tous les jours. Deux mondes parallèles. Walton Coggins alias l'infâme Boyd Crowder est un monument d'acteur. Incroyable série qui vous colle à la peau. A vos Colts et à vos bourbons, shoot !

Final season's ending was really good because it suits the main character; cannot see any other way to end this series. Loved all five seasons and I will miss not watching this show. It is now part of my library and you can bet I will watching it again in the future. I know you folks want details about this final season, but if you made to season four, then you already know how good this one is going to be... do not want to spoil the fun. Enjoy the ride.

Love it, I'm very sad that the series had to end. Great cast of characters, from the coolest gun toating marshall ever, to the best looking ladies, with glued to the edge of your seat story plots, not to mention the funniest dumbell, in Dewey Crowe, the whole series made me feel like I was there with them, Get the entire series, you won't be disappointed.

Por fin pude terminar de ver esta serie que me encanta. Excelente precio y un servicio de primera. Estoy muy satisfecha.
