What the major differences between M20 and T13 and Pro 710+? just wanted to decide which one to buy

The ProSensor M210 has 21 indicator lights vs only 13 on the other models (important note: this is number of lights only, not number of sensors). This allows a more precise indication of the stud limits. It also has 2 AC voltage indicators at each end in case live wires exist beneath the wall or ceiling surface you are scanning. These "upgrades" were worth the additional $5 to me.

Will it work on a sprayed on rough ceiling?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately our sensors do not do well with rough surfaces. Our stud finders function by sensing any change in density, and when the surface is very rough and bumpy it creates air gaps between the unit and the surface which leads to false readings.

Does any model of the Franklin Sensors work better with sheetrock over old wood lath walls than the others??

Our best and most accurate sensor is the M210. This stud finder has a maximum detection depth of 1.7". Depending upon the total thickness of the sheetrock over old wood and lath, this finder may be your best bet. We cannot guarantee that it will work however without knowing the thickness and the makeup of the materials. Good luck!
