Honing Oil
I have been using the honing oil to sharpen ice hockey skates. It works great it doesn’t clog the stolen and always gives a great finish pass. The oil is much cheaper to by in the large bottle saving us money

Great oil for sharpening knives, chisels, etc. this is my second refill. I switched to this several years ago and haven’t looked back.

Be careful when using.
The product works fantastic just Be careful when using it because it can make a bit of a mess if you are not careful. Maybe it should come with a a spout

Too thick and Stinks
I love Dan's arkansas stones. Bought this honing oil to try vs Trend lapping fluid for kitchen knives. This product is too thick for me, but main problem is the strong smell of kerosone that is very difficult to wash off from knives. Smell lingers in knives and.hands for long time even after several washings. This product needs to be reformulated, there are many deodorized type of petroleum products available nowadays.
