Great shirt
They are less expensive than buying at the 5.11 store, but quality seems to be just as good. They look immaculate in their packaging and fit well.

My Favorite Shirt - High Quality, Great Looking, Functional!!!
This is my favorite shirt - great looking, high quality (tough), and keeps me cool in the Summer. The fit is a bit large: I'm normally an XXL and the XL in this shirt fits with room to spare (though the arms are slightly short for a tall guy). These seem marginally smaller than the short sleeve version, in case you have that as a point of comparison. While it is not the coolest shirt I've ever owned, the back venting is very effective. What I appreciate even more is that when I am sweating a bunch, it's not very visible on the fabric. I hate when shirts show the world how much I'm sweating, especially on hot and humid days where there is really nothing that can be done about it. I have the long sleeve version in grey and khaki and they both look great. Oftentimes, I can't wear light colored tactical shirts, because for some reason they make it look like I have a serious manboob situation. Not so with these shirts - the pockets are held close to the rest of the shirt and the high-quality fabric keeps everything looking as it should. These shirts are a tiny bit stiff right off the rack, but after a couple of wears and a wash, they are absolutely, 100% perfect.

Thoughtfully Designed, Well-Made and Durable
I have been wearing these shirts almost exclusively for three years. They are well-made, durable and thoughtfully designed. As a photographer, I find the large breast and hidden document pockets quite useful for carrying the small stuff that I like to keep readily available--extra battery, memory cards, pen, small notebook, etc. I also like having the option to quickly change from long sleeves to short and appreciate that I can fasten the rolled up sleeves in place. The hidden buttons that hold the collar in place are a nice touch, as well. The collar always stays put while maintaining an open-collar look. A nice alternative to the Oxford button-down style.Be aware, however, that these shirts run large. At 6', 170 lbs, 34/35 sleeve length, I normally need a large size. But the medium is a perfect fit with this shirt.

Overall good shirt for a stocky guy
I'm a big guy and picky about my clothes. Material seems pretty durable (time will tell) and sheds water very well. Circulation is good when moving, light layers at the bottom and middle but pretty thick up top and can get warm if no breeze or you're not moving. No huge logos or embroidered labels, multiple easy to get to pockets. Primary pockets are a bit on the small side and I don't like the velcro but hold a full sized smart phone, document pockets are much bigger. Button holes are a bit on the small size and the sleeve loops were a bit difficult to get in place. Shoulders and arms are a perfect fit for me, but the middle kinda feels like i'm swimming in the shirt. It feels a bit long, but it's not in the way and I'd rather have that than too short.

Another great shirt from 5.11 in their TacLite line
I packed this 5.11 TacLite Professional Long Sleeve Shirt in the Tundra color to wear with 5.11 TacLite Professional Pants in the Coyote Brown color, along with the same 5.11 TacLite Professional Long Sleeve Shirt in the TDU Green color to wear with the 5.11 TacLite Professional Pants in the TDU Khaki color for a trip to Manhattan between Christmas and New Years. The weather was forecasted to be windy, with scattered showers, and temperatures become progressively colder with rain turning to snow flurries. My 5.11 TacLite Professional Shirts and Pants kept me equally comfortable while sightseeing with my wife, walking out in the weather, and while shopping and dining with my wife, indoors in the stores and restaurants. When the temperature dropped to its lowest on our last day, layering, with a thermal undershirt and underpants under my 5.11 TacLite Professional Shirt and Pants, kept me warm and comfortable all day outdoors. When our trekking outdoors was finished, and we prepared for our flight back home to New Orleans, I changed from my thermal underwear to regular cotton underwear, and continued to be quite comfortable in the Town Car to the airport, waiting for our flight to board in the airport, and in our jet flying home. My 5.11 TacLite Professional Shirts and Pants also looked neat, creased, and professionally casual when I carried my overcoat and Homburg hat, while shopping and dining indoors. And most importantly, my wife thought I looked great in my 5.11 TacLite Professional Shirts and Pants, even walking through Manhattan. OHHH-RAH !!!

Fits large, but very durable and comfortable
I normally wear a 2XL t-shirt, but even the XL in this shirt was slightly large on me. If you're between an XL and 2XL, go with the Large. This is a great shirt! It fits nicely, it's breathable, durable, and moves well. I wear it to play paintball, and it does a great job. It doesn't stain, it's tear resistant even when I run through thorns and rub against barricades. It's breathable, and will let some paint through the shirt, but the shirt washes out cleanly by just spraying with a hose thanks to the treated fabric.

An almost perfect shirt .. a little large
I now own three 5.11 TacLite pro long sleeve shirts and 3 short sleeve. I am 5'9" 200lbs with wide shoulders and broad chest so I have to go for large or extra-large XL shirts usually fit well in the shoulders and chest but because I'm short the shirt hangs down too far. Every now and then I come across a shirt that fits just right. As others have mentioned this shirt is LARGE... In fact I could almost go for a medium size and I haven't fit in a medium in 20 years. The 5.11 shirts I bought are a L size and perfectly in the shoulders but a little loose in the gut area.I like the hidden button tab collar, it keeps the collar shaped and straight. The weight of the material is perfect... I've owned a few tact shirts before and the material was way too heavy. The several chest pockets are nice and occasionally come in handy. I really like having a place to hang my sunglasses... either on the chest pocket or shirt sleeve. And suddenly I'm bored writing this lol.... buy the shirt, buy one size down, and you'll love it
