Does what was described, already at 2 locations and no issues yet. Highhly recommended !
Got already 2 of these products for 2 locations. first one about a year ago. I was just showing it to a friend of mine yesterday so it will hopefully help me to place here the most important parts which I like and I do not like about this product. Setting up is fairly easy, can sometimes take more time but you will be able to do it using your smartphone and the application installed for it. I actually do not use it as an outdoor unit, only indoor, got also another indoor unit for the basement. Im planning to get another unit so that I can have one unit also outside and that way help also others to see realtime temperatures in our area. Anytime you need, you touch the top and it will send to your phone current status of everything it offers - humidity, voice level, temperature, co2. You can also just passively see it on your phone in the app, I think it refreshes every 20 minutes - this is what I use the most because I use it for monitoring mostly when Im not at the location. I like you can set up app push notifications, e.g. I know then max voice/noise level at the apartment when nobody is there is 38 decibels when the one of the devices is running and makes the loudest sound. I se tup notification that alert me when the voice level will reach 40, 60, 80 etc and base on that I know if somebody got inside or is maybe even making a party I'm not aware of :-)) If you go on a vacation then this is a simple solution to be notified if somebody got into your home. Same I have notifications for certain temperatures, highest, lowest, CO2 level - know its time to open windows and get fresh air. I do not like only one thing, I guess Im more unpatient than others, in the app you can click on the netatmo map and it shows you your location and temperatures around. This loads for me too much slow. Even yesterday, when I was showing this product to a friend of mine, first we thougfht nobody else has it in that area, and it took 10-20 seconds until it finally showed temperatures which were read by other outside devices in his region. Then he was ofcourse happy he can have a better idea about realtime temperatures at his area. App shows also weather forecast for next days and you can share your access also with other people, so e.g. multiple family members can see it anytime they wish. Ohh one more very handy feature, graphs, you can see for all the features how is it at the current or also past time and see how the environment responds to various things, how is the insolation, why one room is more cold than the other etc. This product helps you realize there is also a fresh air outside - open windows, monitor your house, see how rooms act in the winter / summer time. Make sure place is not overheated or too cold, and make the location a lot more effective and simple to manage. Saves time, stress and money. I can be writing here a loot of stuff but it it's easier if you will just post your question as a comment here and I can answer you if you need help with your decision, I'm very happy with this product and will be happy to make life easier also for others. a very useful gadget.

Awesome Weather Station
The Netatmo Weather Station is the easiest WiFi device I have set up yet. You create your account, sync the Netatmo with Bluetooth to your device and the rest is done for you. I have Nest and SkyBell and they where much harder to get connected to WiFi. I have also added the Netatmo Rain Gauge which is working great. The weather information from inside your house including the carbon dioxide levels, humidity, temp, noise levels is great. I have noticed that if my carbon dioxide levels get too high I get headaches. I had heard of that before but never knew what the carbon dioxide levels were in my house until now. I like the rain gauge as I can get accurate measures without having to use wires to connect to an indoor station like other weather stations. The external unit and rain gauge all connect to the Netatmo base station by radio so no messy wires and they don't have to have WiFi access. Only the base station needs WiFi. It has great graphs and app for Android (also supports iOS). Your Netatmo account can be used on multiple devices and you can access it through the web. I would suggest Netatmo for anyone looking for a wireless and easy to use and expand weather station.

Nice idea, problematic execution.
When netatmo works, it works well. However, it suffers from various issues: * So-so wireless range. I have to keep my external sensor and rain gauge within maybe 20-25' or so of the (inside) base sensor, or I can get intermittent/dropped data. WIth my old Oregon Scientific stuff, I could put the outside temperature sensor 40-50' away, and it would work fine. * Humidity sensor readings can vary widely. I bought a second indoor sensor, and placed it next to the base station (maybe 2' apart). The humidity readings were different by 14%. Now, I'd expect a consumer-level solution to differ by a few percent, but 14% is unacceptable. I bought a third indoor sensor (for temperature readings), and the humidity readings on this third sensor roughly agree with the second one. So, I have no idea if the base station humidity sensor is wrong, or if the sensors on the additional sensors are consistently different. (If anyone cares, the temperature readings are consistent for me.) * The weather station requires a internet connection to netatmo's servers, and the servers appear to be having problems recently. Basically, you need to contact netatmo's servers if you want to see your weather data. A few days ago, there was a 3-4+ hour outage where the data was inaccessible. Today, there's been an 11+ hour outage, and it's still ongoing (update: the unit decided to forget its wireless settings -- see below). When the servers aren't accessible, the netatmo is as useful as a dead squirrel. * When the servers do work, accessing the data is not fast. The web page can take 3-5+ seconds to load, as well as the iPad and iPhone apps. Expect to wait to see your data. * My unit came with some "pictograph" installation instructions, which were somewhat wrong. Unlike what the instructions seemed to imply, I had to physically connect the unit up to my pc, using a USB cable. I then had to use a configuration program, which was admittedly easy-to-use, to configure the wireless settings. Note that you still have to use a USB cable, but a different, but still easy-to-use configuration program, to add additional modules (like the rain sensor or additional indoor unit). Update (Jan 12, 2015): it turns out that my latest "outage" was caused by the base unit somehow forgetting my wireless settings. I had to re-enter the wireless settings several times before the unit finally accepted them (I'd get a "wireless connection timeout", despite the fact that it took me less than a minute to scan for a wireless network, select one, and then enter my password). On the plus side, the unit does appear to have some internal memory, as it still seemed to collect data despite the wifi not working (the data was then sent to the servers, and so I seem to have lost no data).

A very good 21st century PWS
I've had this PWS for about 3 months now. For a while the outdoor temperature readings have been 2-6 degrees off whenever it got cold in my area (also hot too). All other readings seemed okay. After a bunch of experimenting over weeks I think I finally have been able to get accurate outside temp readings without even applying any calibration offset in the iOS app. In fact that offset isn't very good because if your temp is off, it will be off in a non-linear fashion with changing temps, so applying a hard offset won't really help. The outside module is so convenient to just place on top of a table or any hard surface without trying to mount it on an arm. Initially I had it placed on the edge of a patio to try to get it as close outside as I could but also keeping it away from sun and rain. But that gave incorrect readings. I think the issue is that whenever you have the module anywhere close to the home structure there must be some non-negligible heat radiation coming off the structure to influence the module significantly. I moved the module to the outer edge of my pool cage on a waist-high railing, which put it about 20 feet from the main house structure and now temp readings day and night are definitely in good agreement with surrounding stations and airport, maybe a 1 or 2 degree difference among some surrounding stations (looking at wunderground's map). Also, since its not mounted on an arm, I found placing it upside down so that the vent holes are not close to the surface it sits on helps too. There is also temperature influence with what it sits on. The only other main challenge now with its new position is ensuring sunlight never hits it directly. I think I have that resolved but its definitely something you will have to consider if you move it away from say a protective patio of your house. Also, while folks claim that the module should not be exposed to rain - I do not see that mentioned in the manual, only that it should not be in sunlight since it will absorb heat and throw off the temp reading. There are companies that sell solar radiation shields for PWS use as well, so that is always an option. I think Netatmo should sell that as an add-on. Hope these little findings of mine helps anyone that may have similar troubles. I must say that when I look at the wunderground map I see some station reporting temps that are outside the consensus of stations around it. I look at the hardware being used and it's been about 8/8 being a Netatmo PWS! This means that it is fairly common for folks not taking great care in the placement of the outdoor module but I don't really blame them, the documentation is severely lacking. The hardware is fine, I wish Netatmo would have basically provided the information I mentioned in this review in the manual. I had to figure it out myself over time. It is almost as if they don't really know their hardware very well because I have read some of the reviews on here reporting issues with the module and the suggestions given from Netatmo were a bit crazy. Have to dock a star for that. I love using Netatmo despite the documentation/tech support issue however. I've given new life to old iPhones and iPads being mounted weather info screens around the house. There is an SDK for those who are interested in having custom software interface with the hardware. My next task is to have some code which will acquire rain totals and use that to configure a sprinkler controller that is also internet connected. One practical use of having a PWS that is internet/intranet capable. If you are on the fence about buying this PWS I'd say to go ahead and get it once you give some thought to where you will position the outdoor module.

Solid performance for 3 years, and tech support has been excellent
I bought the Netatmo Weather Station in 2016 and wanted to use it for a while before posting my review. Right now all I have is the inside and outside modules - I may add a rain gauge sometime later; definitely do not plan to add a wind gauge as it will not be easy for me to periodically access it for battery replacement. Never having owned a weather station before, I don't have a reference point to compare it against. I decided to install a Netatmo because there are substantial microweather effects where I live (New Orleans), and I wanted relatively accurate local weather conditions to control various HVAC-related devices within my house. I chose the Netatmo over other home weather stations primarily because it has an IFTTT channel - rendering it easy to use Netatmo inputs to trigger events controlled by other IFTTT channels, such as Wink Hub shortcuts. Also, Netatmo integrates nicely with Stringify, which I also use for automations. The Netatmo weather station was simple to setup with the Android app - it took me no longer than 10 minutes. My phone paired to the indoor module by bluetooth readily; configuring the inside unit to use my WiFi access point was quick, and the outdoor module paired immediately with the inside unit. The first issue I had was that after equilibration for several hours, during which time both modules were next to each other in a well-ventilated space, the relative humidity readings were way off. Relative humidity (RH) being a function of temperature, I must point out that the temperature registered by both modules was exactly the same. I have an Accurite humidity monitor ; when placed next to the indoor and outdoor modules, it became apparent within a few hours that the indoor module needed to be calibrated, while the outdoor unit was within the Accurite's margin of error. I contacted Netatmo's tech support and received a response within 24 hours - they asked me to place both modules next to each other and proceeded to calibrate the indoor unit within a day. Since then, the indoor unit has been within the Accurite's error margin (+/- 2% RH). The next issue I had was the Android app (and Netatmo website) did not display the "Feels Like" temperature accurately when I selected the "Feels Like" temperature to be calculated using Heat Index calculations. Whether I selected Heat Index or Humidex, the Feels Like" temperature was always calculated using Humidex. It took Netatmo support a while to recognize the problem, but it seems to be fixed now - for temperatures over 80F, the "Feels Like" temperature uses the Heat Index calculation method. At less than 80F, no correction is applied for the "Feels Like" temperature. Finally, because my outdoor module is an atmosphere that is both humid and somewhat saline (New Orleans!), I chose to seal the bottom with a little marine wax to keep water/humidity out of the battery chamber. I also have it enclosed within a Stevenson screen to protect it from solar radiation and direct rain. The Stevenson screen I used was the Ambient Weather SRS100 Temperature, Humidity, and Solar Radiation Shield . For three years, the Netatmo has worked flawlessly. I like being warned by the CO2 meter that the indoor air needs refreshing. And its IFTTT and Stringify integrations have been excellent.

Best relatively inexpensive inside/outside weather monitor
The Netatmo unit works very well, and seems to be accurate. The app is well designed for the iPhone and iPad; the user interface adapts to a landscape or portrait view on the iPhone, where the landscape view shows dynamic graphs over time of the various measurements. The iPad app interface provides a more comprehensive view, similar to the Web interface. Setup with your home WiFi network is easily done, with step-by-step guidance when you install the app. You can tell that the Netatmo folks are serious about making this product a success. For example, they have apps for Windows Phone and Android phones, as well as the iDevices -- plus a browser-based interface. After setup, it took 10 or 15 minutes to start to get readings from the outside sensor. I tried to trigger an alarm, as suggested, by exhaling onto the indoor sensor -- to raise the humidity and CO2 levels. The alarm did go to my iPhone, but later the CO2 level dropped to 0. I suspected that the sensor tried the auto-calibration of CO2 level while I had it raised to a warning level, and that messed it up. So I opened the doors and windows to get fresh air in and did a manual calibration (simple, as described in the device info), and that fixed the problem. The reading is now 400 ppm, as it "should" be. I've messed around with various weather instruments for over 45 years, including teaching meteorology many years ago. It is a delight to have such a capable instrument to record weather data, with such easy access to the data, at such a relatively modest price. Devices to get more accurate and more complete weather data recordings would be 5 to 10 times the cost (and more!). The "crowd-sourced" weather data plotted on a map is a fun addition. I'll be adding the rain gauge soon. Another bonus for techies is the software development kit (SDK). Want to use the public or private Netatmo data in a different way? -- you can write your own app for that, maybe even sell it. For a simpler approach, you can also download text data files for your device and massage them in an Excel or Numbers spreadsheet. More to the point for most people, the fact that the Netatmo has an SDK means that you have a growing collection of apps for this weather station. The installation instructions are diagrams only, sometimes a little cryptic, but that's a very minor quibble. You can install the outside sensor either on a wall with the included hardware, or on a post with the included Velcro strap, but in either case, the unit must be shielded from direct sun and rain. Looking through their product information on the Web helped. Overall, this is truly a 5-star product.

Watch out for bad units
I first ordered the Netatmo and an extra interior room unit, along with the Rain gauge and the wind guage and spent a few evenings trying to get them all talking together and connected. Each attempt turned into many frustrating hours leading to oblivion and I just kept starting over completely and replacing batteries that I knew damn well were good in order to avoid the inevitable conclusion, which was that I had received a bad unit. Which unit? Not sure. It could have been either the main powered unit or two of the other units, depending on how you looked at the process, but either way - they were NEVER going to pair up and connect. I contacted Netatmo through a frustrating journey through their website, which finally found me chatting with someone who stated that my purchase from Amazon should be dealt with by Amazon. They had nothing to do with it. Yes, the manufacturer. No attempt to troubleshoot. Nada. Just "take it up with Amazon". So, that's what I did. Amazon actually rushed me out a second whole kit right away as I was to return the defective unit(s) when I was sorted out. Well, it arrived a few days later and I set about pairing them again and got exactly nowhere. I put a couple hours into it. I then set it aside because I got busy. I made a few more attempts over the next few months, but never solved it, nor did I ever return the second unit, because I needed all of them to cobble together something that worked, but I just kept running out of time. After enough time finally passed, I took another stab at it. This time, there were firmware updates for what appeared to be all of them and I finally got it all to work. It's actually a pretty cool system. The thing is, that system has actually cost me twice what they sell for because by the time I finally got it working, conceivably because of the eventual firmware update (although one base station and one external unit both do NOT work at all and they were each from a different box) I never did get a chance to return one of them because I'm now significantly past the return deadline. I have a box with perfect appearing units that do not work and I can now do nothing about it. Proceed at your own risk, but I would say that the customer service approach from this company is less than ideal.

A Definite Staple to the Health-Conscious Household
The Netamo Weather Station should be a staple to any household, high-tech or low-profile! It is also an essential piece to any home automation system. It accurately measures humidity, temperature, noise level, and most importantly, the unit that stays inside also measures air quality by giving a count of CO2 in the air. It has a sleek, modern look too, and is designed to blend in with just about any setting. When you think about health, many people focus on nutrition, exercise, and water intake. One thing that is absolutely vital to one's health is air quality. Air quality can effect a vast array of bodily functions. If you don't get enough oxygen you can not expect for the rest of your bodily functions to run as smoothly. If we are breathing air with a high content of CO2 it can be toxic and a definite hazard to our health. This is why I say that the Netamo Weather Station is an essential piece of the home automation system. I keep mine in the bedroom where I sleep at night. If you can be conscious of the air that you breathe and manage to keep clean, oxygenated air flow in at least the room that you should be spending eight or more hours a night in, you will see vast improvements in your health. People who are able to sleep in an environment that has good, clean air generally report getting better sleep and waking up more refreshed. Keeping the air clean is a great practice that will not only help you to wake up feeling refreshed but it will also keep you looking younger too. I highly recommend this product. It was easy to set up. It works great! It is easy to read and understand. It also integrates beautifully as an app on your phone which allows you to receive notifications as the air quality changes. I would definitely give this a try especially if you are a health conscious individual that is looking for ways to improve your quality of life.

The very best connected product
I have been using Net Atmo products since their inception. The products have been the very best connected products I have ever used. My very first Net Atmo system is still functioning perfectly. Their support has been totally fantastic. I have only used support a few times over the past 15 years but is has been first class all the way. I hope the company keeps up running the same way. This is a product and company you can really lean on and count on. This so rare today. Most companies give you tons of features that are unreliable and unpredictable. But my Net Atmo products have always been predictably reliable!! So refreshing to know that some companies actually get it. Thank You!!!

No sirve
No sirve. Solo funciona el módulo interior. El exterior marca que está muy retirado a pesar de estar colocado en una terraza a 3 m. del principal. Imposible emparejar el pluviómetro. El anamómetro siempre marca la misma dirección.
