Got this for our dog kennel
We love it and they (our pups) love it. It provides the perfect amount of shade for them on those super sunny days. We do take it down when a storm rolls through, but it’s easy enough to put back up.

It’s cheap. What do you want?
Look, it’s cheap it cost no money. Hardly it works but it’s flimsy, of course make the choose for your knee.

Great Shade for our Chickens!
The media could not be loaded. These are perfect to provide shade for our chickens on 90° days! The rain comes through but the sun is not quite as burning hot. Nice big cool patches.

Doesn't hold it's shape....tears in wind.
The weave on this brand is very loose so the interior of the screen has a lot of give and stretch. I fastened mine securely with bungy cords and stretched it out flat on all edges, but after a week, it began to distort in the wind and the shape became bulbous. It made it catch on parts of my truck and began to tear in several places. Now it's a hopeless mess. I got it in July and this is December, so it didn't last 6 months. I have mounted and used other brands of shade cloth that have lasted 15 years in the wind and sun. Those have a tighter and reinforced weave that don't distort in the wind. They have a tiny bit of give, but this brand was like panty hose! Maybe it would work for some things, but I don't recommend it for a mounted shade cloth between porch posts or for carport shade. It's hard to tell online which kind is being sold. Guess the price might be an indication. A friend of mine bought one for twice the price and his was firm and durable.
