My DR wants me to take a statin as he said my cholesterol levels are too high, I disagree, after looking at various sites, I think my level may be just a tad higher than his idea of normal but not high enough to warrant a pharma product, I'm 75yr old, in good health, eat wisely and believe that I'm 'normal' for my age groupI'll continue to take this brand until my next blood tests in 6mnths and consider other options if my levels haven't reduced by then ...will update in future

As I aged, my cholesterol levels increased. Found Policosanol recommended in a Journal of Natural Health. My cholesterol is now well within recommended levels. I highly recommend it to be taken on a daily basis.
