Looks and feels Premium
Update 04/01/23. I bought a 2nd one for an elongated toilet. The installation was easier this time since I ignored the instructions from the manual lol. Better instructions:1. Turn off the water and drain the toilet bowl tank.2. Put a pan under for water leakage and disconnect the inlet hose from the tank bottom.3. Connect the water inlet hose and L shaped end of white bidet hose to T adapter. It's easier to do this before you install the T.2. Connect T to tank.3. Then installed the mounting bracket, in my case, as far from the water tank as it would let me so the seat can snap into place later. Pull the bracket towards you as you tighten the screws. Make sure the washer is installed the way the picture shows in manual (the only time I followed the manual).4. Attach the bidet hose to toilet seat5. Slide toilet seat onto mounting bracket until you hear a click. Check the button on the side to make sure it is not still depressed. When properly in place the toilet seat does not shift at all. Try pulling the seat towards you. If it slides forward, you didn't push it in far enough. This is the cause of all the reviews who say the toilet slides, shifts, or doesn't stay in place.Important: Ignore the instructions about turning it 1/4 past hand tightening with a wrench. You only need to hand tighten. In my first install, I used a wrench and overtightened it causing it to leak until I added plumbers tape. This time I only hand tightened, no plumbers tape and everything was fine. You just need to tighten it as much as you can by hand. These hoses all have rubber gaskets that will create a seal. If you overtighten it, the seal won't work properly and you will get a leak. Plumbers never use a wrench on these kind of connections which I learned later. You can always tighten with a wrench if you see any part leaking after you install. In my case, that wasnt needed. For reference, I have left my original review. Note that I no longer have a problem with wiggle in that toilet either after fixing it.After more 2 years, the 1st bidet is still working great! I've had to remove the spray tip a few times to clean it (easy), but otherwise no maintenance needed and no leaking. I still think this is a great manual biddet and that the bad reviews are due to bad installation. I don't know what people are doing to break that lever, for example. Did they twist so hard it somehow broke? Now my only wish is that I had an outlet behind my toilet bowl so I can install an electronic bidet. Cold water bidet in a new York winter is brutal! Lol But way better than not having one at all.05/30/21 original review. I almost didn't buy this due to some of the reviews, but I'm glad I did. Replaced my tiny Dual Max Toto toilet seat (round) with this one. The hole is the same size length, a bit wider on the sides which is nice. I wish it was longer but I've already resigned myself to fate having gotten used to the tiny Toto seat. The seat stays up when needed and soft closes. It covers the entire back of my toilet so there are less places for dirt to show, and it comes off easily for cleaning.1. Pretty easy to install. I overthreaded the t valve and had a scare (it leaked immediately from the little water left on the bottom of the tank), but was fine when I loosened it a bit. Do not overtighten like I did! Lol. Got smarter and used plumber's tape on all connections and only tightened with channellock one quarter turn.2. The quality of the hardware and materials is superior. I don't understand the reviewers who said the washer was too small. It needs to be installed the long way. Of course if you align it on the long end with the hole it's not going to work. The picture in the instructions clearly show the proper way to install it. Don't worry about those reviews. It's simply improper installation. Actually, 99% of the bad reviews are due to improper installation.3. The lever looks great and fit into my tight alcove no problem. Using the lever is a breeze and I love that you can adjust the position of the jet.4. The water pressure is great and strong on full blast. I love that different size jets were included but they weren't needed in my case.5. The seat does move a bit from side to side (my older seat also did that though not as much) and has a tendency to slightly skew to one side after using the lever which is a bit annoying. It's probably an intentional design to allow some give for the quick detach feature but it is annoying and one reviewer mentioned putting a piece of plastic to hold it in place which I might try.6. Finally, I love the white hose. Nice touch, way nicer than my other hose connection and it really helps to hide it visually.Overall, a great bidet. Time will tell if it lasts. But I trust Kohler way more than anything else out there at this price range.

Comfortable, well made, easy to use
Right out of the box, you can see that this product is superior to most of the bidet attachments. The fittings are metal, not plastic, and the hose is strong. Both of these differences mean it is less likely that it will spring a leak and potentially cause a lot of water damage to your home. I'm very happy with the performance of this bidet seat, but my only warning is that when you order this PureWash, you will actually get the PureTide, which is somewhat different. If this doesn't bother you, I recommend it.

Good unit with some minor (install) reservations
If you’ve decided to get a bidet, I’ll first review this specific unit and the installation and then discuss my impressions of the practice after 64 years of not doing so.Overall, this is an excellent unit; it is well made, and I like the Biscuit color and elongated shape, which perfectly matches my Kolher toilet. This was one of the primary reasons I picked the unit, being a fan of Kohler products in the past. I’d give the unit five stars if the hardware that shipped worked with my existing Kohler toilet, but it does not. This is a caveat I’ll provide for anyone hoping to use this product: double-check the size of all the existing fittings! As shown in the photo I supplied, my Kohler toilet has a 3/8th proprietary metal line attached to the water outlet (which matches that 3/8 size). The Tee connector that comes with this product is 1/2 for all connections. In my case, this meant spending more money and time getting the right connections. I actually had a pro plumber remove the original water valve (compression to a water pipe) with a dual 3/8 valve, as seen in the photo I provided. As you can see, now one 3/8th hose goes from the toilet to the water line, and the 2nd goes from that valve to the Bidet. IOW, the white plastic cable (1/2 to 1/2 supplied) wasn’t used, nor was the supplied T valve. I had the plumber use a metal braided line to the bidet (3/4 to 1/2). It costs a bit more money, but I think the metal lines will be far more reliable in the end. So again, the WARNING (if you cut to the chase): do not assume that the T valve or any of the lines supplied with the bidet will work depending on your exiting lines. Even if you have a Kohler toilet! As for the unit, the seat is very nice, and I love the quick connect and reconnect feature for cleaning. Installation of this base unit is super simple. Overall quality is very good. Do realize the control handle sticks out a few inches and can only be used on one side. This should not be an issue for left-handed users; it is just that if you have a tight fit in your bathroom, you’ll have to ensure you have a good 3-5 inches to the right side of the toilet. The unit comes with three different spray nozzles; we used the default and think it (so far) is acceptable. As to the decision (after 64 years) to go for a Bidet. It has been a few days since installation, and so far, I will be a bidet convert, as will my wife. The primary concern was the temperature of the water (there is no way to heat it with this basic non-electric unit). The room-temperature water is not an issue whatsoever. I’m not saying heated water wouldn’t be nice, but it certainly isn’t required. We desired to use minimal paper and less of it going to our septic system, and I can say this will easily be accomplished. And more importantly, I do feel a lot cleaner after using a bidet, as you may already know if you’ve been a bidet convert. And if not yet a convert, if, like me, this is a new experiment, I can state that after a few days, I’m really happy with our decision to go this route, and I hope you will be as well.
