Garbage! DO NOT BUY. THE SHURFLO IS BETTER!
I replaced a cheap $60 shurflo 3gpm pump with this overpriced hunk of junk. The shurflo came in my '16 grand design rv and had been working for years. I was looking for a higher volume pump since we have 2 bathrooms in this 46' monster. After reading the hype on this, I paid over 3 times the price of a supposedly better water pump. The USA Adventure Gear ProGear 5500 High Performance Professional Grade Water Pump | Made in the USA SUCKS! The $60 Chinese pump is superior in every way.#1. Some genius decided to put quick connectors on this water pump! They leak! Stupidest design ever!#2. It is loud and shakes the rv. This thing sound like a jack hammer in the basement of our 23000lb gvwr 5th wheel! We couldn't hear or feel the shurflo when it came on.#3. We blow out our lines and leave the low point drains and faucets open every winter, even though we live in W. Texas and it rarely freezes. A tiny amount of condensate must have trickled into this pump because it froze and busted at 28 degrees! The shurflo is leak free after multiple freezes!Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money on this overpriced pia pump. Buy the shurflo, or buy 3 shurflo pumps for less than one of these.

30 day return window
Purchased 6/2021 to upgrade for the 5.3 gpm - it lasted less than 2 weekends of use and psi switch went bad - but of course it was out of the 30 day return window - not a big issue for me as I have been fixing pumps 35 yrs but for others consider something else - replaced it with the old one that's been working since 2011 so not a big issue for not having water on the 4th of July weekend. Took the USA pump apart to see if pump head or switch went bad and yes faulty switch along with the screw threads came out of the pump housing as pictured - it is a common 3 dollar omron switch so it's easily replaceable but for the price and where it was made I didn't expect any issues with such short usage.

Water line connections leak at the pump. Need to be threaded connections not a “quick” connect type.
Water line connections at the pump need to be better engineered. Threaded is better than quick connect type that leak.

replaced pressure switch failed on second pump. Company sent new pressure switches.
Stopped working after 2 months on a boat. Will remove and call company to try to trouble shoot. I contacted the company and they sent a new pump to me at no cost. Installed the pump on August 17. Will update on how long this new pump last.

Solid emplacement pump. - a little noisy
Pump was easy to install, although I had to snip the pre-wired 12v connector off and attach the wires directly. The sound is louder than my old one and is a “pulsing” noise rather than a consistent hum. The pressure is excellent though.
