Like this a lot
First of all, the reviewers saying there’s only a little fragrance in this product need to get their noses checked. The fragrance is very strong. In fact, it is my favorite thing about this product. I love the smell, and it’s as strong as any essence with a fragrance. It lingers long after you apply the toner.I gave this 4 stars only because I need to wait to see if it breaks me out. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks, and so far so good. I don’t see any skin brightening effects. But it does reset the ph after washing. It also works well under other ingredients. I apply moisturizer over it the daytime and retinoids over it in the evening. It increases the suppleness of the skin after cleansing.I think people who don’t like fragrances in general will want to steer clear of this one. That said, I personally love the smell so much I wish they’d make a perfume of it. I normally don’t use fragranced products. But comfort zone’s cleansers and toners from this line all have that citrus/ musk smell, and I just happen to really like it. I can’t see that the fragrance aggravates my rosacea, which is surprising. So, if you want a toner that glides well, hydrates, cleanses, and balances, I’d recommend this one.

Mild, Fragranced, No-Frills Toner
This is my second experience with the Comfort Zone (Italian Made) brand. I tried one of their more posh liquid essences and loved it. When this essential toner came up on my suggested list, I snatched it up. This toner is one of the lesser expensive items, costing $35 for 6.76oz, as of this writing. And instead of being in glass, like many of their other products, this one comes suitably packaged in a basic white plastic bottle with a pour-spout flip top cap. It is mild, watery, non-greasy, fragrant (added), and basic. Mostly water and niacinamide. See include photo for complete ingredient list. The smell isn’t unpleasant, neutral, but unnecessary. Bonus, it doesn’t have witch hazel or alcohol. It does have a hint of tackiness to it, but because this is a toner, I will forgo the feeling since it doesn’t cause pilling or issue with other products layered over it, and because once you put your moisturizer on, you don’t sense the tackiness anymore. Otherwise, I’m left semi-matte. I assume this is due to the niacinamide as it is known for helping balance out sebum production in the skin (so I’m not as oily in my oily zones, or dry in my cheeks). This seems more like a soothing toner (vs hydration or acne treatment). I have mature, sensitive (Rosacea reactive), combination, acne-prone skin. No flares, irritation, rashes, redness, excessive dryness/oiliness, or sudden breakouts while using it. Overall, I like the use. I just wish it didn’t have the added smell and perhaps had more to it than propanediol (humectant) and niacinamide (vitamin B3).

Nice but Perfumey
[ comfort zone ] Essential TonerI like this hydrating toner but the fragrance in this line is a real headache. It is very perfumey and a bit overwhelming for me. I don't mind a bit of fragrance but the manufacturer went a bit scent happy with this line. The toner is very hydrating with glycerin and has niacinamide for brightening. I use this after washing my face with a gentle cleanser and then apply serum followed up by a hydrating cream. I have super dry and sensitive skin and the fragrance isn't something I want in a toner.#alcohol-freeKey IngredientsAnti-acne: NiacinamideCell-communicating ingredient: NiacinamideSkin brightening: NiacinamideSkin-identical ingredient: GlycerinALL INGREDIENTS BY FUNCTIONBuffering: Citric AcidChelating: Caprylhydroxamic AcidEmulsifying: Polysorbate 20Moisturizer/humectant: Propanediol, Glycerin, Betaine, NiacinamidePerfuming: Parfum/FragranceSolvent: Aqua/Water/Eau, Propanediol, 1,2-HexanediolSurfactant/cleansing: Polysorbate 20iNGREDIENTSAqua/Water/Eau, Propanediol, Glycerin, Betaine, Niacinamide, Polysorbate 20, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Parfum/Fragrance, Citric Acid

No frills packaging, good quality ingredients, works well!
[Comfort Zone] Essential Toner...📚 No Nonsense, no frills, just the basics packaging.📚 Convenient flip tap, just squirt your toner out on a cotton pad.📚 The toner works while, leaves my skin feeling fresh & toned.📚 Comfort Zone is a sustainable, family owned, internationally awarded professional range of spa treatments, skin care and home care. Based out of Parma Italy.📚 I felt like there was very little if any fragrance to this product.📚 The ingredient list is fairly short and when I ran it through a skin care ingredient checker, everything came back as safe and clean.📚 Summary… slightly pricey for a toner however, you definitely get what you pay for and with this you get good quality ingredients in a product that works well! 👍👍

Light Floral Scent, Soothing, Refreshing ...
This arrives in a nice little box. Now, I was a little surprised when I removed the bottle and found it was plastic. Glass would have been ideal, but plastic did not deter me from giving this a try. This has a very light, very fresh floral scent. It is modern and really delightful. Next, swiping this over my face felt refreshing as well as soothing. And, after letting this dry for a bit, I can feel how smooth my skin is. Such a nice toner! This does a really lovely job of preparing skin for the rest of your daily or nightly skin regimen. Recommended!

Very nice toner!!
This was first time I tried this toner,Is a new find for me that I picked up the other day and have already seen incredible results from! My typical combination skin has been dry in patches on my forehead and nose making it hard for me to wear foundation and or see any effects from my other skincare products.I like its texture. It is a very fluid liquid and smells like perfume. At night, to make my skin cleaner, I use it with a cotton pad. In the morning, I can apply a little with my hands-this saves a lot of product. Because of its texture, it can be used in combination with almost any cream. I tried 5 or 6 creams-the results are great and there is no contradiction with other products!
