I have used the Pocket Hoses for years - ever since they came out and have been very happy with them. Of course I don't expect them to last forever, but I have always gotten several years out of the hoses before I needed to rep!ace them. Truthfully, I was not the most careful with the hoses in the past and didn't always drain and put them away immediately. Nevertheless, I was very happy with the time they lasted and their performance.I just purchased a 100 ft Silver Bullet hose on April 28, 2022 in preparation for our gardening season in upstate New York, which hopefully, safely, begins after Memorial Day. The hose wasn't needed until the second week of June, which is already beyond the 30 day refund limit. Having never had any problems in the past, I wasn't worried. I used the hose as directed and drained and put it away each day it was used as this is the only hose I have to reach my garden plants. Imagine my surprise when I went to water my plants today (8-15-22) and the inner hose liner just seemed to detach or rip. No water was running through the hose, only leaking through the first few feet of the outer cover. I'm so disappointed with the workmanship and quality of this hose! Now I have to figure out whether it was a fluke and try another one or try to find a similar product that performs as this one should have. You can buy a 2 year warranty but I'm not sure what it covers. I've never had a problem in the past, so I've never felt the need to check it out. All I know is I'm so very disappointed in a product that met all my needs and now fails so quickly. Sorry to go on so long, but I'm in disbelief that the company would let the quality go so downhill. Do I give it another chance? I'm not so sure, as they are fairly expensive for a hose.

I had a similar type of hose for 2 years before it failed. I absolutely loved that hose and was ok with 2 years of use for the price and the benefits of the lightweight hose.There are fewer options of this type of hose now. I’m guessing that is because they didn’t have acceptable longevity.But my experience was good enough to find another option and give it a try.Pricing on this one is ok. If I get another 2 years out of it, I’ll be happy.It has the same benefits as the last hose. Very lightweight when not in use (water pressure on). Compact storage.My only initial concern with this hose is the durability. I’m glad that was one of the options to rank (star) the product. Once under pressure, the hose is very stiff. Dragging it across the paver patio and around the yard has already worn the fabric outer shell a bit. Nothing major. But noticeable after only a few days. The hose I had before did not show this type of wear, even after 2 years.Fingers crossed. Let’s hope it lasts.If it doesn’t, I’ll update my review.

I love this water hose. It comes with the detachable nozzle to spray a straight stream and an extra rubber gasket for the end. Although I’ve never had to change mine it’s nice to have an extra just in case. It is incredibly lightweight. Holds up to the high water pressure when watering flowers, yard or my chickens. I can pull this hose around the yard to wherever I need to and not get tired. I always turn the water on and as it expands I walk along and start to water. I struggle to move our other rubber hoses because they are so heavy. I bought 2 of these so I could have one for the front yard and a different one for the back yard. My husband even prefers these because they are easily moved around. I bought my first expandable hose 5 yrs ago. It wasn’t until the end of last summer it finally gave up. I had been pulling it over the fence back and forth every day. I believe that’s the reason it sprung a leak. Even with a leak I continued to use it till end of season. This year I bought 2 and have no regrets! I tell everyone they need one!
