my niece once started playing tiny toys and this set was exactly what she needed for her collection. each toy is made of high quality materials and looks very cute. i visited her many times last year and saw her playing this set and enjoying a lot. highly recommend to any little girl.

I love this set overall, but this particular animal is one of the harder ones to get to stand on its own feet (and even harder with the shoes on). Still adorable, but maybe don't get it as a /first/ calico critter if you're introducing these toys to a little one! It's great for kids who have really fantastic hand-eye coordination or are planning to hold it in their hand most of the time they play and are less inclined to try and have it pose standing in every single pair of shoes!
