TotalBoat inflatable bottom paint is ideal for rubber, PVC, and Hypalon inflatables. This ablative antifouling provides a durable, flexible protective coating that won't crack or lift when the boat is deflated and rolled up. Use in both fresh and salt water to repel barnacles and growth. This water based bottom paint can be thinned up to 10% with water (if needed), is easy to apply by brushing, rolling (3/16" solvent-safe roller cover), or spraying (airless or conventional), and cleans up using simple soap and water. Water-based formula means no toxic solvents or nasty fumes.25% copper content wears away at a controlled rate to provide season long antifouling protection. No launch time restrictions. You can paint now and launch later. Gray color looks great on all inflatables. Sold in Quarts. One quart provides approx 125 sq ft, typically enough for 2 coats on an 8 to 10 ft boat. Recoat dry time is 3 hrs. at 70 degrees F. Before launching, wait 6 to 10 hours, depending on temperature conditions.Compare to Pettit Inflatable Boat Paint, Sea Hawk Inflatable boat paint, Aquagard Inflatable Bottom Coating, and MDR Inflatable Bottom Coat. All TotalBoat products are 100% made in the USA, and designed by boaters, for boaters. We know what works and what doesn't.

Don't forget to protect your dinghy
I used this to paint a West Marine 310 RIB dinghy that I bought this year. After a thorough cleaning and prepping the fiberglass bottom with some 100 grit sanding blocks and painters tape, we painted the hull in 2 coats. (I didnt use a primer.) I shook the paint for a few minutes before opening it and stirring but have to say it reconstituted much better than I expected. There was plenty of paint left to do 2 more coats if I wanted to but 2 coats looked good. Both the PVC and fiberglass surfaces took the paint with ease. I used a cheap brush from Home depot as my expectations were that the brush would be non-reusable. I let the 2 coats dry for 24 hrs before putting it in the boat in the water. After the dry time the finish looked good, you could see some minor brush marks but this is bottom paint not car enamel. I chose this paint over Pettit mostly for the price but also for the fact that its made near where I use the boat in RI. I figure they should know the waters of the bay and whats needed to protect a boat. Paint shipped with gloves, mixing sticks and a paint cup. So far its only been a week but it looks good. No cracks in the paint on the PVC. I'll update the review at the end of the season.Update: End of Season 1 (November 2015). Paint held up very well. I cleaned the bottom of the dinghy with a pressure washer at the end of the season and did an inspection. I have to say the paint looks very good. I expected the paint to crack and flake off but its solid. The only areas showing wear is on the keel from where I beached it but even there it didnt wear all the way through. It just looks scraped. I'm adding a star. I wont need to paint next year. Hopefully I can remember to update my review again next year.

Paint cracked in a month
I prepared my inflatable boat correctly. I applied the paint correctly. In one month the paint cracked like dried mud on every bit that was applied while the boat was still in my shop. It was brittle like chalk paint. I got a refund. Now I have to strip this paint. Custome service was great but I am not happy with this paint. I have been a painter for 40 years and dealt with coatings of all kinds. This paint is not something I would buy ever.

Best Protection Ever
One of the best dinghy bottom paints on the market. The paint was easy to apply. I applied two coats, The dinghy went into the water in July 2018 and was taken out at the end of September. And although it was a miserably hot NJ summer, I was pleasantly surprised to find a perfectly clean bottom. Best thing, no need to paint next season. You will not be disappointed.

Disappointed
Unfortunately the paint is peeling off the fiberglass portion of the hard bottom dinghy after 3 weeks. The inflatable portion is holding-on to the paint. Now i have to go through the trouble of repainting the boat, Not acceptable.

Perfect!
This went on very nicely to my 12' inflatable boat. Brushed it. Did 2 coats and gave the rest to my neighbor for his new boat. I am expecting enough still in the can to do mine again next year. Nice

Works fine but oh, so thick!!
The paint worked beautifully BUT the consistency was very strange. It was like rice pudding, it almost had to be smeared on rather than painted on. I contacted the company who promised to get back to me but didn't. I have no idea if I got an "off" batch, but it did work.I was contacted by the company about my issue with the consistency, well, I was told I would hear from them, but never did. Stuff was so thick I had to use a putty knife to put it on.

Good Choice
Goes on easily with good coverage. Too early to see if it helps limit bottom growth. Grey color matches dinghy better than black. So far I'm impressed.
