Aquatic turtle filter media
We have a couple of slider turtles, I use this in their water filtration system. Works great for us. It keeps their water clean and clear. Without this in their filter the water stays murky and yellow. This clears it up and lasts for a while.

Super lo que buscaba
Se sumergió hasta que saliera el aire y se colocó cerca de la bomba para que pasará el agua por el mismo, muy funcional!

Basic cheapest price carbon works for 2 weeks max
It will do the trick and clear and clean your water of yellowness. However it is very fine grain, and I have to sift in a specific grade of strainer to get out all the small pieces, that would other wise fall out of the replacement filter insert upon rinsing and also subsequently into the tank. Since it is bituminous cola, it will last about 2 weeks max, you can leave it in for more time but it is just sitting in there holding max saturation. Its fine nature will lend to it clogging in 2 weeks anyways with fish waste, even as an after poly filter stage position which is a must with this brand. For the price, its ok, as it needs more labor to sift and change out more frequently I put in 1 whole cup every 2 weeks into the plastic gray filter insert replacement media baskets and the water stays more than crystal clear for 13 days. I will now try 1/4th (cup) the carbon to see if water changes only can keep the yellow out of the Koi fish tank to an acceptable minimum. As I already have ozone filtration and wet-dry filtration in combo with wet filtration (porous gravel), combined with a measured scoop for the food pellets amount. I weekly rinse clean my poly filter pads in the 75 gal weekly up to 10 times each pad over 10 weeks, before replacing with newly cut piece from large roll. I hold the dirty filter under narrow water fall of cold water in bathtub from showerhead, allowing the weight of the water to do all the work gently so I can reuse the poly fiber many more times over. Definitely the best price and economical option. But if your overtly rich, go ahead and buy the $100 carbon and replace every other month as it will last longer, for the minimum amount of care and time. There are other cheaper grades of carbon, for example, this one sizzles upon wetting. Other low grade brands like API do not sizzle while they are of a larger grade, and do not effectively clean and keep clear the water at all, and are more expensive than this one. The price is lowered by Marineland adding in the smaller siftings that would normally be thrown out, or just not sifting it to begin with. You get a half cup of powdered carbon at the end, I save for water dechlorination in combo with vit C, to reduce chemicals for the fish, and its cheaper and works for me with a measured scoop. Then you will also get a 1/2 cup of too small for the fish tank filter to hold but not powder, and I put this cup in my used clothes hamper similar to baking soda. None goes to waste for me. Medium quality carbon with shorter half life, in a grade far smaller than is preferred or convenient, which is why its the cheapest. It is my go to, as I will never overpay for more expensive carbon for the fish tank fish. They are fish, not swimming filet mignon you are going to eat, you will always go thru and throw away when done the carbon, so get this cheapest one, and find ways to reduce usage and dependence with more actual proper biological filtration and ozone plug in, in front of air pump for cleaner, fresher, spa like clearer enough water overall. The carbon itself will become surrounded with bacteria and become a temporary part of the filtration for 2 weeks, then when replaced it loses that biological filtration and is dependent upon a new dose of carbon to keep that water clear, repeating the costly cycle of carbon interdependence. Don't forget those water changes, and you can use 1/2 to 1/4th less carbon for still acceptable clarity and cleanliness fish tank levels.

Good quality activated carbon that works well for removing smells, and is a good price for the weight
Works very well. Was very effective at almost completely removing the garbage smell from my garage (we have to keep our garbage bin in the garage). The size of each piece of charcoal is very good (small pebble size), and there's not too much fine powder. What I did was fill a few women's stockings with the charcoal (about 6 inches in length), tie up the end, and then let it sit in the garage. Four such stockings worth was enough to do the trick... perhaps less would have also sufficed. If I wanted to make them even more effective, I could hang them on the inside of the garbage bin (by sticking a hook to the inside wall, for example). To fill those 4 stockings, I used about 2/3 of the container. I was expecting it to last longer, but I guess it's not too bad, since hopefully those 4 stockings will be effective for quite a while.
