Joovy Boob Formula Dispenser, Clear

I was skeptical at first but simplicity is best in this scenario. I'm so glad I purchased this. I've been having issues with switching from breastmilk to formula and one of my main issues with being out and about. Who wants to carry that big clunky canister with them wherever they go?! Not ME! This little guy is perfect... and three servings lasted us hours out and about at the zoo. No mess, no confusion. Nothing awkward. And it's pretty discrete, for someone like me who still feels a little judged when I feed my child formula.

I chose this dispenser mainly for its design. Compared to others I've used in the past, this one is more stylish. There is wiggling involved to get all the formula in the bottle and that is hard to do with one hand holding a baby, but I'm not counting that against this dispenser. That has been my experience with other dispensers in the past. With that said, this one did give me trouble when rotating the lid to each compartment. It gets stuck and is hard to get it right on track. I once thought I had it right, opened the lid, started pouring only to realize I had it set between two compartments which messed up the ratio of formula to water and inevitably wasted that bottle. That was very disappointing since formula is not cheap and is my reason for three stars.

It serves the general purpose. A little bigger than expected, so doesn't fit as nicely in a bag as I thought it would. It's also a little difficult to get the top off for refilling. The snap dispenser top opens easily so it may pop open in your bag and spill (hasn't happened to me yet, but it seems possible).

I like this formula dispenser for the reason some people dislike it. I like that it is a little larger than most because in the future I will be able to store snacks like cereal puffs or yogurt melts. I love the sleek design and the clear compartments which let me see exactly what is inside. The top clicks nice and tight so I don’t have to worry about anything spilling. Great product. I have a picture comparing this and the dr Browns formula dispenser. But work great, but I find the joovy dispenser more aesthetically pleasing.

Convenient powder formula holder while on the go! We keep this in our diaper bag. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is when I pour the powder into a bottle, it’s a little challenging to get every bit of the powder out - a little always seems to get stuck so I have to shake or move it around to empty completely. But overall, would recommend! This is my first formula dispenser I’ve tried.
