Back from the dead
The battery installation was really easy and it performs quite well. It's been over a month and I have to say it was $42 well spent. I strongly recommend this vendor and their products. My laptop is performing like new. System: Dell Latitude 5289 Intel Core i7-7600U -16GB RAM 1TB SSD 12.5" FHD - probs only worth ~$300-$400, but still going strong after the new battery, especially for a 7+ year old laptop.

Works well so far
I’ve had three OEM batteries for this laptop and all have swollen to a large, distorted form. Decided to go with an independent brand this time. So far, so good. Hope this one lasts longer than the others.November 2023 update: this battery is still performing perfectly. It was a good purchase

Problems installing
Replacing an original 3 cell with this 4 cell. All tabs lined up perfectly. The power cable is a different story. The tab is poorly positioned and gets in the way of plugging the cable in. hold the tab out of the way to get the plug started, Then using both hands being supported by the back of laptop push forcibly into the plug until you hear or feel it snap into position. There is a slot in the receptacle so that you can see the plug is completely seated. Make sure you observe the plug through this slot when starting so that the plug starts evenly.

I didn't realize how bad my OEM battery was until I installed this new battery. Excellent and well worth it!

Worked great for a few weeks
Worked great for a few weeks, then stopped working altogether. So dead, the BIOS battery even conked out after a week of not being used, and this battery won't hold a charge at all, even enough to unplug for a few seconds while moving from one spot on the couch to another and move the plug.

It's a battery... The right battery!
I needed a new battery for my Dell laptop since it wasn't holding a charge anymore. This was an exact for and even included the screwdriver needed to open the case as well as instructions to make the laptop relearn the battery life.So far the product is working exactly as it should!

fits great, excellent value
Arrived overnight when Dell is at least 6 weeks out on delivery. Working well so far first day. Supplied screwdriver fits well. Time will tell as to durability
