Use steel hex deer fencing for areas with severe deer pressure and where animals such as rabbits need to be kept out. The pvc coating will allow the fencing to blend into the landscape. Steel Hex Web Deer Fence

I have a garden which is 150' in circumference. In previous years, I used metal posts and plastic netting. The posts moved in the ground, and the netting with it. Even the sections between erect posts sagged due to birds landing on the netting, etc., etc., etc... When I weed-whaked the bottom of the fence, I took demolished inches off the bottom. Over only a few years, and lowering the fence each year, the height was reduced. The deer had a hay day last year! This year I purchased this fence. I installed 4x4 pressure-treated posts at 10' apart. The birds don't sag the fencing, as was the case with the plastic, web fencing, The plastic-coated metal has so far stood up to the weed whaker. I feed deer 15 yards from the garden, and they have not made an attempt to jump over this fencing. I say, A+++++

Very nice and invisible fence.
The fencing is best with a top high tensile dual strand barbless wire woven every 2 ft. or so. I stretched it between heavy duty posts 15 ft. apart. I put some in with a bottom pressure treated 2x12 or a 4x12 (depending on the steepness of the hill and the semi retaining wall effect for loose dirt and debris. That helped smooth out the wrinkles in the landscape and the fencing. Some I put in with just another high tensile wire at the bottom and then stapled it to the ground every 2-3 ft. with bent rebar hooks or staples to keep the dog in and the other animals out. Working great so far, and it is a great looking fence....Can't see much but the posts.
