Honestly what can I say about Windex that hasn't already been said 1000 times over. It does an amazing job on glass but is also effective on other surfaces. I personally use it on my life-proof vinyl flooring as a final step in cleaning up cat vomit. By buying a refill container such as this you do save a modicum of hard plastic that can't or won't be recycled. The only thing that would have made this modestly better from that perspective is a waxed cardboard container that's somewhat more environmentally friendly as card board is more renewable than plastic. If that's important to you.

I’ve tried many glass cleaners and recently noticed that the “secret” to a streak-free/smudge-free shine, is to use a glass cleaner that has ammonia in it. Of course this is only for glass and glass-lie surfaces.
