Prevented the theft of a motorbike.
These were purchased to ADD to my existing system - it was cheaper to buy With the Receiver than buying 3 owl transmitters on their own. They did arrived paired to the receiver, as one would expect, BUT i needed to pair them with my existing receiver.. two units paired immediately without any problems. the third unit was a different story. initially it refused to pair. so i emailed the manufacturer. in the meantime i repeatedly tried to pair this last unit to my existing receiver. after about 20 attempts it decided it would pair together. However in doing so it changed all the tones of the units both new and existing. So i had to go round and re-set the tones - not a big issue, i just prefer different tones so i know which unit is being triggered and in which order "IF" more than one unit is triggered. Once paired i looked to mount them when i then came across one of the mounts was split - this was only noticed when trying to, mount the units The supplier came back to me about the pairing issue [which i had now resolved] the response initially was to resend the pairing instructions - as if i was an imbecile - i ignored this and replied advising that i had now managed to get it to pair and that upon mounting i noticed the mounting was split meaning the transmitter would not sit within the clip. They requested my Amazon order number which i duly supplied and a replacement was sent to me. so aside from that initial reply telling me how to pair the units - which i was fully conversant with anyway, Customer service was SPOT ON!!!! Provided the units are not mounted too low - in which case they can be triggered by cats, or dogs etc, - they are great for alerting me to unwanted guests [especially at 3 am in the morning -read on for more on that bit] so i now have two units covering my drive - one is out of sight close to the street, one one is at the bottom of the drive,. - i have two units covering my back garden - just in case anyone comes fence hoping and a 5th covered the side gate! [opposite side of the house to the drive] Do they work?? of course they do!!! We were woken up at 3am on the FIRST NIGHT that i had extended my system from 2 to 5 units!! 4 scum bags had set them off trying to gain access to a motorbike, i was out of bed and chasing them down the street in my slippers and PJ's [as was my son] As a result of these units the motor bike was untouched, chains and locks on the bike were untouched, we were alerted to the crooks and they were immediately thwarted. They had no idea we had been alerted to their presence until we appeared with a torrent of verbal abuse !! Had they reached the bike, they would have encountered a shed alarm at 120 or so Decibels!! YES, worth the cost, stopped us losing a nearly new motorbike, and prevented them even trying to cut the locks and chains off the bike. So we use them as a warning alarm of potential theft, and it works, they are great for monitoring your driveway anytime day or night. You can soon learn if your kids have slipped out the garden gate against your wishes and instructions. or if someone is approaching your front door before they get there. Not heavy on batteries either - each transmitter takes 3 AA batteries, i use rechargeable's and a set lasts for about 1 year - the receiver plugs into a mains socket My only gripe really is that some of the tones are too short and possibly not loud enough but there are 4 or 5 tones that are that bit longer and louder, which i feel you need, especially at 3 am in the morning!! [i think there were 4 volume levels - highest is best at night] It would also be good if it was possible to record your own tone as well. so a few tones not really suitable to alert you in the night but that aside - EXCELLENT!! i have had my original transmitter and receiver now for almost 2 years - this purchase was simply to expand the coverage of that original set. just a shame the police are not as quick to respond as we are.

Works well to detrect intruders before they break in
I was recently burgled whilst in my house - very scary!! So I wanted to detect intruders before they smash the windows. I bought 3 sensors - front, side & back of my house. Set up is easy following the YouTube video. I had a query as to whether the receiver would still remember the sensors if it was unplugged & moved around the house. The answer came back within 24 hours as promised & it was "yes". My only disappointment is that the dog bark tone, which I bought it for, is not loud enough to be heard outside the house & therefore the deterrent effect is not effective, other than one sensors being visible above the front door with the other 2 hidden.

Well worth buying & easy to set up
We love these! You can choose different sounds for each sensor. Some even say ‘garage alarm’ or ‘driveway’ which is handy. Given us much piece of mind by having them. Highly recommend.

NOT waterproof - ruined after one downpour in the UK
DO NOT BUY THESE! If you plan to use them outside (which of course most will do) they fill up with water when it rains and are ruined!

Very pleased
Very pleased working well, this replacement is good as you can buy extra sensors without having to buy a new base unit

handy little owls with good distance
These work very well. It takes several tries to find the right angle. I actually took a live webcam and placed it near the alarm plug-in, kept the app open on my phone, and walked back and forth in front of the little owls until I was happy with the placement. Despite my angling, it does occasionally get set off by branches nearby on a very windy day, although this is unavoidable on my part due to living in the forest. The furthest one is probably about 0.1 mile up the driveway, which goes around a curve so there is no direct line of site. Cars, trucks, cats, dogs, and people set it off. I have the top one at the top of my driveway with a set of barrier gates, which let's me know someone is attempting to come to my house. Once I hear the second one go off, then I know to check. Even the quietest setting is quite loud. So far I haven't had an issue with water leaking in.

Ottimo
Ottimi sensori nonostante siano elementari. Se durasse un po’ di più la suoneria una volta segnalato il movimento sarebbero veramente perfetti.

Far exceeded my expectations!!!
UPDATE : I just did an update a few days ago. It is 4/12/26 and just after midnight. I just caught two intruders and possibly stopped them from doing something. I heard the first two alarms in my driveway go off very quickly one after the other. This has only happened when a bird flies through both sensors during the day. It was late at night so I knew the birds were sleeping. I got up and looked out the window. I saw two dark figures halfway in my driveway. They were just standing there. Shortly after I saw them they walked back out of the driveway. I thought they saw me so wanting to see where they were going, I went out onto the front porch. On the way to the porch my first alarm went off again. When I got on the porch I could see them just standing at the end of the driveway. I could hear then talking to each other but not loud enough to hear what they were saying. One of them walked back into the driveway and stopped when he triggered the second sensor turned around and walked back out. They had seen the eyes flashing in the window so I suspect that is what stopped them the first time. They were testing my system now and I new it. What they didn't know is they saw only what I wanted them to see. A second receiver upstairs alerts me to all alarms on my property. I knew they were there before they knew they were detected. They talked for a few more minutes and then both of them came back into the driveway setting off the first two sensors and kept walking. This is when I spoke up and asked out of the darkness if they had a problem. I heard one of them say no and then both turned around and walked out of the driveway. They just walked off down the sidewalk like nothing happen. I don't know what their true intentions were but I'm very satisfied with how this system worked. In hindsight I truly believe them seeing the light flashing slowed them down long enough for me to react. My only regret is this. I regret forgetting my paintball gun. If I had it on me they would have been in trouble because I was in a perfect spot to let them both have it. Using any chemical agent is against the law in my state for theft. Personal protection only whether from spray or a gun. I am still waiting to hear back on the use of just using paintballs. Check with your state to be sure. Update : I have had this for 5 months now and am just as satisfied as the day I installed them. I wanted to point out some things I think are important. First of all is the batteries. I am using rechargeable batteries and they have lasted through the cold winter here in Maine (sub zero temp) and still working. I have not had to recharge them at all since I installed them. Second thing is the set up. I set up mine in series. If the post man comes to deliver mail to my mail box on the back gate by the garage, I first get a driveway alert. This is followed by a front door alert when he is about half way into the driveway by the walkway that goes to the front door. And when he get to the mailbox on the gate by the garage I get a garage alert. And the reverse as he leaves. This setup let's me know pretty much where they are on my property. Also I can tell if it is a false alert or not. Birds will set off one alert from time to time and two in the series once in a great while but never all three at one time like the mail man. At night the birds are sleeping so I can too. The receiver on this system will work with up to about 30 sensors. More then enough to cover my whole property. Third thing is mounting and placement of your sensors. Mount them between knee and waste high. This will prevent false alerts at night from small animals like cats, skunks, and such. As for where on your property you want to place them, that is up to you. Putting one inside your shed, garage or, other building is a good idea. The only way those will alert you is if someone actually breaks in. I have bought quite a few products on Amazon through the years, and this one has impressed me the most by far. It not only met my expectations, it exceeded them. I can't say enough, and would give it more then five stars if I could. Even the company very quickly answered any questions I had. The staff at HTZSAFE was professional, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Understanding how this system works, and your imagination is the key to its success. I bought the package with three sensors and one receiver. My original plan was to put one sensor at the end of my driveway, and the other two at the front and back doors. The receiver was to go in kitchen. I was so impressed with how well this system works, I will be ordering another receiver/receivers and more sensors. Like I said before, understanding how the system works and your imagination is the key. The sensors and receiver are made of plastic, durable, as well as decorative. The sensors have two gaskets that I can see which I pointed to in my pictures. One flat gasket on the battery cover, and what looks like a ring gasket between the two halves of the main sensor body. I read in a review someone had an issue with water getting in the sensor. I used electrical tape to cover the seam on the main body, and silicone gell on the battery cover as added protection against water. The sensors motion sensor is a narrow beam, unlike the typical flood light sensors that have a wide beam. I found that the sensor works best if you mount it at any access points you want to monitor. Aim the sensor between two solid objects if you can. Mine is mounted on the fence, aimed at my hedges 30ft away, set on low. As for false alarms, I get a few. That is because I have sparrows that like to play tag in the hedges and in the driveway now and then. I will also get false alarms when it is very windy. 40mph or greater and/or the leaves on the ground from the trees are blowing around. If it gets annoying I just unplug it until the wind dies down at night. The receiver I have temporarily placed in the kitchen window as you can see in my picture. I am getting a small power strip to mount it more securely. The lights flash when the alarm goes off. My thought was if an intruder saw it, that would let them know they were detected. Possibly be more of a deterrent. You can see this in my short video. I got a second receiver to go in the up stairs hallway outside my bedroom for when I am sleeping at night. It will wake me up if anyone goes where they should not be. I get no false alarms from those sensors. I have this set up so I can tell when I get a false alarm should I get one. My two receivers are more then loud enough to be heard throughout the house. The volume button on the side of the receiver has four settings. They are high, medium, low, and mute. There is a second button on the receiver that controls the selection of which alarm sound you want for a particular sensor. The instruction manual is easy to understand and follow to setup this security system. There are also tutorials, and how to videos online, should you need further help setting this up. In closing I would like to say this. The money I spent on this system and what it can do was well worth it to me. I now have peace of mind and know that my family, house, and belongings are secure. Remember. Understanding how this system works, and your imagination is the key to your success.
