These are an exceptional value, as all of KAI's mid-priced products are. They come extremely sharp out of the box, and are reasonably easy to maintain compared to harder stainless options or rust-prone carbon steels. They are reasonably stain/rust resistant, though I would advise against putting them through the dishwasher or leaving them to sit after cutting acidic fruits. These knives compare favorably against offerings from other companies that cost twice as much.

These knives are relatively inexpensive and for what I paid for the 3, they work great. They are a decent weight, it’s easy to slice veggies and cut through watermelon and buttercup squash easily.This set has the 3 knives I use most frequently other than my santoku knife and I would buy it again.

By all means not a professional set. Even under ideal cleaning/maintenance they show rust rather quickly and easily, which you can usually scrub off if you catch it quickly. Came out of the box extremely sharp and seem to be holding up pretty well. I like Kai Knives as a company so if these are up to par with their other products I don't expect to have to sharpen them often and they should last a long time so long as I can stay on top of keeping them dry directly after washing.

I use these knives for everything from cutting up fruits and vegetables to cutting up steak. I like that they’re nice and light also. Because I have small hands.

I felt that these knives, although still decent for the price, were too thin. Even though they were very sharp, I had doubts about their long term durability and just didn't feel that they were up to the KAI standard that I was expecting, as I was expecting the same quality as the several KAI pocket knives that I own. Although they were very sharp, and very nice looking, and even comfortable to hold, ultimately I sent them back due to the lack of faith I had in their long term durability.

These are great knives for the price. Keep in mind they do not come with a block or covers.

Very nice, they are sharp and cut excellent I really liked them for awhile. I took really good care of them. Few rust spots are showing up on the blade and I’m bummed because of that. They seem to still work well regardless but I wonder how long they last.

We like them. They feel like quality. Nice feel.

They came very sharp, well balanced and have been using them in a commercial kitchen off an on for a few months now and they're still sharp as the day they arrived. I will be buying adding more to complete the whole set

These knives are beautiful and are extremely sharp. I would definitely purchase this brand again.
