Not good with powered USB hub
Meh. Won't actually read well using powered USB hub. It did, but only sort of. After 24hrs. it refused to function.

Worth the Money Everytime.
This thing is basically plugged in at all times. :) I run three operating systems from it. I have the first boot sector created as a master boot disk. All the utilities a computer technician (5+ Year Computer Technician) could ask for installed. I still have about 1TB free. I can take all my documents and games with me wherever I go. PortableApps is installed so I can fix my customer's computer troubles.Pros:Reliable so far. Its only been about 6 months though and I beat it up. :)I really liked the size of this product both dimensions and storage capability are amazing. 1.5 TB and Can fit in your pocket.USB 3.0 makes it worth it and I basically run my computer off this instead of an internal. All my stuff is there when I leave. I encrypt it too.Cons:It could be my computer, but I have never seen anywhere near the speeds actually projected for USB 3.0. Please don't misunderstand its a great product for sure. I paid for the ultra to get REALLY fast rates and I got so-so. Tested on peers USB 3.0 ports as well.USB 2.0 is compatible, but that is the best way I can describe it. Something like a portable version of Opera, with a very low memory footprint, being run from this drive in USB 2.0 mode will lock up on me. I have an i7 and 16GB of RAM and everything else on my computer keeps going strong (only Opera is being run from external).Because of the above I couldn't give it a 5 star. Honestly I wanted to because I use this device everyday and it is pretty reliable. In the end I wanted to be fair to the consumer and to the manufacturer.

PC yes, iMac no!!!
This Western Digital 1.5 tb is suppose to work with PCs or Mac computer operating systems but it's far from the truth. I have tried 3 of these external hard drives and none of them worked with Mac's. Don't waist your time with Western Digital. Go with a Apple product and be done with it.

xbox hard drive.
I use this with my xbox one,takes seconds to format and works perfectly.I will be buying another when I buy a new gaming rig to transfer files.
