Fancy Leaf Caladium Mix - 9 Bulbs

This is the second time I have purchased these bulbs. The first time was as a gift for a friend and I loved them so much that I ordered a second set for myself. I planted my bulbs on May 11th, and look at them now, just 6 weeks later! They are gorgeous! I get so many compliments on them from neighbors walking by my house. It’s always important to follow the instructions that come with bulbs and ensure that you water them according to the instructions. I water any plant in a container almost every day (I’m in central Florida), even if just giving it a mist, because plants in containers dry out quickly. I highly recommend these bulbs!

Caledonia are colorful, grow beautifully in deep shade!

I originally gave this product an unfavorable review as the only ones coming up were the white/green variety. They were the first to grow so it appeared they were all white. The pink ones came up late and so they did provide diverse selection and they grew nice. squirrels love them so sprinkle cayenne around the soil.

I put these bulbs in a planter box. I was a bit nervous as they took longer to pop up than other caladium bulbs I have bought in past, but they did come up. All of then. Now they are beautiful. Pretty easy plant to have here in Florida as long as you keep in shade. I have put these in ground too but my last batch died (I did NOT purchase those that died from this seller. I got them at local store) I put them in planter and took about 10-14 days for flower to emerge. Water couple times a week.

Beautiful leaves, grew to about 8", then died. As of today, 5/12/21, no growth from bulbs. We used potting soil & fertilizer, so we don't know how they all died!

The bulbs were small and unimpressive in any way. I would have a better deal at ocean state job lot.

I had concerns when I received the bulbs. They looked dried out with no active roots. I put them in a bucket of peet moss and a small amount of bulb fertilizer and soaked in warm water. I keep them there a week before transferring them to my garden bed. It took a while, but they are growing. Only 2 duds out of 18. I love the mixture of different colors. To me they are better than flowers because they are colorful all the time. I live in Texas and they prefer a warm climate, so they will thrive here so long as the soil stays damp.

They are still blooming but each bulb reduced unique leaves in multiples. They are so pretty and I can’t wait to see what they look like all fully bloomed. Will be ordering more again for next summer!
