VGEBY Snooker Billiard Balls Standard Size Cue Balls 52.2mm / 2.1in 22Pcs Whole Set

I got this snooker set to try playing some snooker for fun. I have a 7-foot American pool table, and the game seems to play out perfectly fine. I know snooker tables are much larger, which makes the game more difficult, but it works fine on an American table. I was worried that the rails/bumpers were going to be too high, but these snooker balls rebound perfectly off of the rails as you would expect from a larger American sized ball. I noticed there were a couple of reviews stating that this set came damaged and scuffed, luckily mine came in perfect condition. (See pictures) It seems obvious, but they are smaller than American sized pool balls. American pool balls are 2 1/4 inches, and these are snooker sized balls which are a little bit bigger than 2 inches. My only complaint is that they don't all sit that well. Some of them seem to move a bit when you take your hands off of them on the table, but you can get it to sit where you want with some patience. Since I got this set for fun, it works great for me and I'm very happy!

As stated in other reviews, the balls arrived scratched. The flimsy (and re-taped together) cardboard box and thin layer of foam with circles cut out was not sufficient to keep the balls from banging tougher during shipping resulting in lots of marks. We were able to polish most of the marks away, but would not have been necessary if the packing kept the balls apart.

I bought these as a gift for someone. Well can you imagine my dismay when they recieved the gift and the balls appear used and scuffed. While the price of $106.59 is not very expensive in terms of quality pool balls it is still a good chunk of change.While the ball size and weight maybe adequate not paying money to buy defective items.
