Had one for years until I lost it on a job. This is the same one I had and works great for small projects that I do which lets me have one tool instead of two tools for cut and stripping saving time. The cost is also very reasonable.

Good quality tools
I bought this to use for replacing old wiring in an old house. I like Gardner Bender tools, I've used them for years. This wire stripper though has a high spot that prevents the spring from fully opening, hopefully this will work itself out after some use.

If you do a lot of wiring with romex then you need these!
Really cuts down on the time it takes to install plugs and switches. The voltage tester makes all the difference too.

Great concept
I had the first generation of these wire strippers. They were amazing!!!!!!! Lasted me for over ten years. And I decide to get another pair. But the new design is much more bulky and clunky they the older sleek version. They still work great a stripping 12/2 and 14/2 but the new design of the sensor is piss poor at best. The older one had it build into to grip and was not removable. With this design it easily falls off of the Handel in the pouch or if u bump it. I don’t get why company’s keep changing a great product

This is the handiest wire stripper I’ve ever owned. This will cut your wiring time in half. Strips the wire back with no nicking the wires like the old utility knife. Buy one, you won’t regret it!

Light weight wire stripper.
Built in circuit tester tells you if you have power or no power on what you are working on.Cuts 14-2 and 12-2 outer sheathing as well as cutting the insulation off . Both work well. Cutting 14-2 12-2 wire is adequate .The larger bolt cutter only cuts brass bolts pliers don't have leverage to cut steel boltsThey don't have a button to keep pliers closed so makes it cumbersome for your back pocket or tool pouch.See my You Tube video " Gardner Bender Wire Strippers.

Item was received in “used” condition
Wire strippers arrived in opened packaging and showed scratches from use, so had clearly been returned to Amazon at some point.Not worth returning as product operates ok.

Poor Quality
Very disappointed. Poor quality unable to cut 14/2 wire, Week spring force. Not suitable for an electrician.
