ROADMASTER076 Hi-Low Hitch

This thing is solid and well built. By lowering the bike rack 6", it is a lot easier to maneuver a heavy ekike on an off the rack. Also, built here in the USA.

It's perfect for what I needed it for. It's sturdy and fit's a 2" receiver just right. For work, we have to put a machine on a cargo tray and the truck is too tall so this lowers the receiver for the tray to a workable height. Great for the price!

Great product. Just wished it had multiple holes so I could adjust the extension. The length is causing ground hits & defeating the purpose of the 6” rise.

Perfect size to tow car behind motor home

The OLD MODEL 076 was open between the two vertical side plates, and was rated 100 lb tongue weight. What you will get if you order this item is the NEW version model 076 in which the vertical side plates have front and rear plates added to completely box in the assembly, which bumps it up to 200 lb tongue weight because it is now so much stronger and heavier than before. The part that confuses so many is the picture on Amazon that shows a label on the product that says "100 lb tongue weight". For some odd reason they are putting the OLD MODEL labels on the newer, upgraded model. In fact, the one I got has 2 rating labels, the one on the side as in the picture, and if you turn the riser upside-down, there is ANOTHER label on the bottom that says " 200 lb tongue weight", and I definitely got the higher rated one. Even the paperwork that comes with it says "200 lb tongue weight". There is no mistaking that you got the heavier rated one. I guess the manufacturer hasn't sent a memo out to it's employees INSTRUCTING THEM NOT TO USE THE OLD LABELS! Don't hesitate if you need one of these...you WILL get the 200 lb version.

I purchased this to "lift" our Rola carrier basket for 4x4 camping. The unit is hard core heavy duty with professional welds, nothing cheap about it. We loaded our Rola with 400lb's of gear. The rise allowed us to cross 2ft deep creeks and climb some insane hills out at the Great Sand Dunes on the Medano Pass 4x4 road, without this rise, we would have had to turn around.

After I successfully bent a Blue Ox when hitting an unexpected large dip in the road in our motor home, I replace it with this one. It feels more solid with the extra bracing and is more lightweight because of the space between the two side braces. It has worked well to date. I'll be sticking with Roadmaster products for the rest of our RV dinghy towing needs.

We had a cargo basket for our previous car, and then got a new car and due to the different body style, the exhaust came out right on anything that rode in the cargo basket. We used this to raise it all up and it worked perfectly. It's a teeny bit more wobbly, but didn't cause any issues for us. We love it and are glad we purchased it.

I have installed it on my 2021 Toyota Sienna and it works perfectly. Very durable and it fits the purpose. My receiver was to low, that's why was always hitting my bike rack platform every time was driving on bumps. Problem solved... I'm happy with the product, despite the fact that on my first order the package was lost at career depot, customer service was great, so they sent me another one with expedited shipping. Highly recommending this product...

I bought this to lower contact for portable platform to haul wheelchairUnfortunately the platform has long tongue which sticks out to far making the platform unstable as wheelchair weighs 400lbsBut the drop down hitch was not the problem

The receiver hole was drilled a little off. A large drill bit fixed it.

Would like to see measurements from centre hole to inside. Mine worked perfectly,but was worried until installed. You will need an anti rattle clamp

While this unit is listed as having a 6000lb capacity, it's only got a 200lb tongue weight. Any receiver I can find at that capacity had a 650lb tongue weight. Since my trailer is 3500lbs with a 400lb tongue weight that makes this product useless, and more than that I heavily question the 6000lb rating if the tongue weight is so low.Worst yet, you cannot return this item so I'm stuck with a $160 paper weight.
