Amazing Quality for the Price
I received this pen a few days ago and have used it consistently since then. It is a surprisingly good quality pen for the price, far better than I expected, and I have used a lot of different fountain pens in my time. The ink flows smoothly from the fine nib and it is comfortable to hold and write with. It is the normal "Triplus" triangular shape which means that when you put it down while you pause and think there is no danger of it rolling off the desk. It looks stylish, too, like a much more expensive pen. All in all, I could not be happier with it.

German quality at its best!
Being a fountain pen collector myself, I am delighted to have come accords this product as an addition to my fairly large collection of all sort of fountain pens.German manufacturing standard speak for itself, giving you real joy in writing with this high quality pen.

It's triangular and nicely engineered with a superb nib
My interest was piqued by this pen, triangular and by Staedtler. It's a great pen, very nicely made and the nib is truly up there with the best. So may FP fans rave about gold nibs, they are softer for sure, I have realised I like steel nibs a lot also. This one has the best steel nib I have experienced.I like the quirkiness of it being triangular and for me, it sits very comfortably in the hand, I grip it on the triangular section, not the shiny chrome round section. The downside is that the cap can't be posted. And it's a tiny bit awkward to put back on since you have to align the cap with the body in order to snap it closed. But I like the pen enough not to dock a star for that :-)

A generally pretty decent entry-level/budget pen, but with a few odd quirks.
Pros:-Smooth, reliable nib, with below average ink delivery.-Good cap seal.-Well made, pretty much exactly the level of quality I'd expect for the price.-Triangular shape is comfortable to grip.Cons:-Cap doesn't post.-Clip is not particularly robust, it should really be better.-Section is very slippery, so can be difficult to get a proper grip when you initially pick up the pen. I personally grip this pen high, at the end of the triangular barrel.-Barrel is too tight to fit a converter (Would've been a 4 star if not for this). I found a specific converter (one that fits in a FC Neo slim) that just about fits initially, but it gets stuck in the barrel when you try to unscrew the barrel to refill the converter. Considering most people probably use converters these days, it's not good enough. Conclusion:This pen is pretty flawed as pen designs go, even at this price. But the solid nib, and comfort (when you get used to the ungrippable section) means it should still be considered. If any of the cons make this pen a no-go for you, consider the numerous Chinese/Japanese/German options. The budget end of the fountain pen market is incredibly competetive, and someone is bound to make the pen you want.

Writes very well, but lid does not fit on base of pen when using.
As above - a complete oversight as the lid could be easily lost. Other than that, brilliant!

Flawed beauty
Looks wise this fountain pen is a beauty. It's writes wonderfully with a delicate line. However: the staedtler converter doesn't fit in the pen its made for. The barrel is too slim. Basic error of design. The triangular shape of the barrel is also a drawback as one of the corners need to be exactly in position for writing to be comfortable, and that's almost impossible if you also want the barrel screwed tight against the nib part of the pen. Good looking pen let down by sloppy design and manufacturing.

Lovely pen but the Staedtler ink sac bought at the same time will not fit!
I like the pen. It writes nicely with a good flow of ink to the nib and I like the look of it. I intend to keep it. However I bought a Staedtler ink converter at the same time. Whilst this fits in the section where the nib is, the barrel is too narrow to fit over the converter. Seems to be a bit of an own goal. The standard ink cartridges are incredibly cheap but I want to reduce the amount of plastic I use.

Very disappointing
Pretty surprised at this for a Staedtler product. Feels and looks a bit cheap, not very smooth and not made in Germany. It also seems unduly heavy which isn’t great in a pen. Poor.

I can't find an ink converter.
I like it, but I can't find an ink converter, so I'm having a hard time. There was no NIB F of TRX 476 on the market, so I bought this version again.I also purchased a Schmidt K5 and tried to put it in, but it got stuck in the space behind the barrel and wouldn't go in.Does anyone know?

Interesting
Interesting shape, nicely weighted and balances well in my hand. The nib could have been smoother - gives a scratchy feel. Ink-flow, if not used for a couple of days, is a real problem.
