third way
abit intellectual in parts but not a bad effort at comparing two of raps giants and biggest influences both badly missed

The definitive 2Pac + Biggie Bible
A meticulously researched and tightly written history of rap's most enduring and mythologized rivalry. The authors' distinct styles reflect those of their respective subjects, and their prose snaps with the same electricity that charged the best Pac and Biggie tracks. This book should be dogeared by the time you're done with it.

Interesting
Interesting if you're curious about the music and artists and know nothing about either before you pick up the book. It left me wanting to know more about the popular culture that spawned both. But the authors seem too idolizing, especially of Biggie, to be objective.

Excellent
A lot of ink has been spilled about these two giants, but rarely has such insight been so deftly delivered. Before reading this, I knew a good deal about Biggie but not much about Tupac, so I can firmly say that this is a must-read for expert and amateur alike. Highly recommend.
