Lovely informative, decorative dust cover, suitable for the coffee table . Shows many examples of homes constructed to be homes for many generations. Not instructive for those who want to make their own joints at the connections, or stand up gents.

Beautiful book. Not a how-to but great for inspiration. Don’t buy this if you are looking for information about how to timber frame. Buy this book if you appreciate the craft and want to see varied examples of its application. Certainly expanded my idea of its versatility after reading through this book

I am starting to do some research on timber frames. The photos, and illustration are beautiful. Unfortunately I was looking for things that are more math heavy.
