It does its job well, but it takes some time. If you do 1-2 tires at a time, it's great. If you do more than that, you'll want something better.I'm a fleet mechanic at a landscape company. Our mowers use 20x10-10 tires in the rear. We have 12 mowers.I need to use it in 4 places on each side of the rim to break the tires loose. It's pretty time consuming.

Can’t review it because I never got it. Amazon says I refused but that never happened. They lost it and won’t admit it. It looks like a good tool and well made but I’ll never know.

If you're Customer 1, then you've found the right tool for occasional use. On our land, we have bead breakers worth $300 and up. We can get away with using those on some semi tires. We couldn't use this particular model for that. And that's okay. So basically if you're in need of something light-duty, you can get this one. We're talking some tractor tires, riding mowers, golf carts, ATVs.We needed the heavy-duty model (the $300 one) mostly for our tractors and farm equipment. This particular bead breaker works for everything else, including one tractor and one particular riding mower. It's not all that heavy, easy to pack. Time will tell how well it holds up. I can't speak on how well it would work for certain vehicle tires, just tractor tires. Get this if you need something affordable, basic, light-duty.

I used this to replace the valve stems on my ATV tires. Bead breaker was sturdy and easy to use. I wouldn't use this in a setting where you change tires as a business, but for the regular guy occassionally having to change a tire, you can't go wrong. This was a definite time and energy saver.
