This small tool makes a big difference in maintenance ease. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Threaded right into Groco Raw Water strainers *by N***Y on June 17, 2023* This product was great for flushing the saltwater raw water intakes, for the Engine, Generator, Air Conditioners, Heads etc., when the boat was hauled out for a long period of time. The only drawback was, that the threaded plastic fitting in the Strainer screw top, had a male hose thread - and the garden hose I used to flush the salt water out of the machinery, also had a male thread on it. ACE HARDWARE have a 3/4" female hose to 3/4" female hose swivel adapter (part # 71937) that joins the male end of the hose to the fitting in the screw down strainer top. ( see photo attached) Just figure on spending another $10.
