The flange itself is quite thick, very good quality. Some of the reviews stated it was not perfectly flat, which to some degree is true. A light belt sanding is something you should expect to do either way when fitting this to your cat/ collector if you want a precise fit. I had no problem getting it to deal with the gaskets that vibrant makes for this set up. For 26$ you really can’t compmain. Everything I’ve bought from vibrant so far has be high quality and lasts.

They sent me the wrong part originally. But this flange is great. Best thing to do is expand the end of your pipe to fit the id of the flange. Weld and finished.

Good quality for the price. I wish someone would make these with a bevel for use on a ball / socket joint.

The actual inner diameter of the center hole of the flange is 2 9/16, which leaves a cavernous gap between 2.5" tube and the flange.1/16" sounds like nothing, but when it comes to welding exhausts, it's enormous.

Although it fit well, both surfaces weren't flat, nor were they smooth enough to guarantee a leak free seal. Indeed it did leak after installation despite brand new metallic gaskets. I had to mill & resurface to ensure no leaks. Everything was fine after milling the surfaces and re-installation.

Perfect fit; no problems so far...
