Virtual Sun VS1000TRMS HPS 1,000-Watt Cool Tube Grow Light System

The kit includes just about everything you need. The magnetic ballast is switchable input voltage (120/240V) and lamp type (MH/HPS). They include an HPS lamp but no MH. The yo-yo style hangers are junk, just toss them get a pair of decent hangers Rope Ratchet Light Hanger (Pair) - Hydrofarm. And of course you'll need a fan LED Wholesalers GYO2402 6-Inch 240 CFM Air Duct Inline Hydroponic Booster Fan and appropriate ducting to ventilate the cool tube. The main components are very solid. The cool tube is well-made and includes a nice wing reflector. The ballast weighs a ton, but it doesn't get super hot and it's very quiet. Overall, great quality and great bang for the buck.

The light itself appears fine and wonderful. Everything it was supposed to be and super easy to set up, but having used it for one week and having to find another bulb is ridiculous. I didn't see any warranty information in the packaging. I'm still within the return policy and could send the whole thing back, but it weighs a ton. Other than my disappointment with the extremely short life of the bulb, everything else appears great. If there is someone to contact to get a replacement bulb please let me know. Ordered a replacement bulb. The replacement bulb only lasted 2 1/2 months. I'm wondering if there's something wrong with the ballast.

I have bought 5 of these set ups. I love them and the first one I had contained both bulbs like described but when I proceeded to order 4 more the rest didn't have bulbs.(Why didn't I return them? I ordered them based on need and it was no longer cost effective to send it back, wait for a refund, and order more to replace it.)I am happy to see that the description was changed but that is something that should have been prompt and not inbetween ordering them 3 months ago and now.**Note** Package number 5 came destroyed and the ballast was extremely warped, taking it apart and bending pieces back fixed the problem it operates fine. I repeat 4/5 of these lights didn't come with the MH second bulb that is described.

This item just arrived and I found everything in-line with the price. However, The bulb looked to arrived damaged and when I went to turn it on the first time it burned itself out in seconds and never really got up to power. I am now trying to find out how to get the bulb replaced.

Great deal, runs a lil hotter than other 1000w hoods so upgrade your fans, the rachet hangers was a nice suprise they added instead of the yo yos, A+++

got it test fired it, did not get to really use it until a 1 1/2 months later bulb died about a month in no way to contact seller to see about a replacement guess im SOL with plants dieing.
