Spanish Is Your Amigo

OK, this is plain and straight forward. What makes it so "do-a-ble" for me is: lets me have my american accent. does not have too much "don't do this" that I always seen to remember. and the part i like the best is the bite sized lessons that just enough to learn a little more but not "too many extra explanations" that always distract me. yea, i wil be in this book for a year or so but i am enjoying it,

This is a concise, to the point guide to learning the Spanish. It is a good reference tool to use to brush up on areas of the language one is "hazy" about. I hope in the future that Ms. Williams creates audio to go with this book.

This book has a new approach that really speeds up the process of learning. It is complete and goes over all the areas of learning a foreign language. If colleges use this method the learning curve would be far faster. This author knows what she is doing! A must have for anyone seriously considering learning the Spanish language.

It is a easy to follow fun textbook. An amazing source to begin with that provides you with all you need to tackle learning a new language!

Kristen is an awesome teacher. I'm so happy to have her new Workbook. The only difference I'd like is to have it spiral bound. Otherwise, perfect. Keep up the great work Kristen. You're the best.

Good book for learning Spanish from a native English speaker. As with any learning, continuous practice and study is necessary.

Cool book

I bought this book because I came across the youtube channel (spanish is your amigo). Kristen's lessons were relatively clear, and I thought that I'd give the book a go. The book itself is relatively well organised. It's self published- but not in a bad way! There's an index, grammar with exercises, and the book is progressive (in terms of going from simple to more challenging topics in the lessons itself). Decoration wise, it's sparse in terms of the cover, there are no illustrations, it's just a straight grammar book, with hints on how the various grammar topics in Spanish works, as well as exercises to back up the lessons learnt.Already, I have found the book to be quite useful. The section on location and demonstrative adjectives was worth the purchase of the book for me, because in that one diagram, and the hints (t's equal these) really made that aspect of the language clear. The book also has little hints to make your Spanish experience smoother (DIONZA for female words, LONERS for male, as a guide to use el or la). It's not a book that you should pick up and read cover to cover (you could do, but language learning doesn't work that way), but it's a good book to have when you're doing grammar on duolingo and you don't know why you got the sentences wrong. You just flip to the topic, read through, do the exercises, and 9/10 times, I come away understanding where I went wrong, and why.It's a comprehensive grammar book, and I'm glad that I took a chance on it and bout it.
