Gripping
It has been a long time since I last read a book that I couldn't put down. So well written. Developed characters, twisty plot and kept my interest all the way to the end. Excellent.

Fast moving, intriguing and also very thoughtful.
I enjoyed this so much as it wasn't slick or predictable. Believable characters and we'll written. Look I g forward to the next in the series.

What an intriguing story of corruption in power
One of the best and deepest stories of espionage and controlling corruption I've ever read! A true masterpiece of fact, fiction and probability. The stories index well from one to the next - or previous - and yet the continuity remains unbroken!A wonderful piece of writing and one I am keen to follow! Thank you!

A brilliant read!
I only discovered this Author earlier this year, but somehow have missed some of his books?? Regardless, my latest read was Kill Day - one word, riveting! Unpredictable and fast paced, his attention to the smaller things just help make for better reading. If you're looking for a read that holds your attention from the first line to the last paragraph, look no further Kill Day is the one for you. Now on to Dead Flags! Highly recommend this author.

A very good read.
This is the first book in this series by Andrew Raymond, I enjoyed it so much I immediately downloaded book 2 in what I hope becomes a longer series with this main character in this book.I came across this writer earlier this year when I downloaded his series of 4 books based around two journalists Novak (male) & Mitchel (female). All full of political intrigue, CIA, MI6, MI5, GCHQ with plots and twists turns on every page and across various continents. I couldn’t get enough of them. And this latest book was a different character and plot, but just as great a read.I like this writer every bit as much as Lee Child, John Grisham and James Paterson plus many others, never a dull moment and unable to put his books down.

Good book but nothing special
Follows the usual spy story (loner with a sense of justice discovers internal corruption structures as part of an assassination mission against one of his predecessors) but this time in UK (MI6). Leaves room for sequels

Kill Day -
I have read Andrew’s Novak & Mitchell series and a couple of his DCI Lomond series, and I have enjoyed them all. The Novak & Mitchell series were all cracking books and probably one of my favourites series, along side Alex Smith’s Kett series. This book, Duncan Grant - Book 1 - didn’t disappoint. Andrew’s books are always fast paced, full of action and keep you on edge. I’ve already downloaded the second in the series. If you haven’t read Andrew’s books I would highly recommend you do. 5 out of 5 from me.

Great Find
This was truly a great find. Plot twists and character flaws are abound in institutions designed to keep a country safe from evil. Who watches the watchers?

Plot lines taken from Bourne movies.
As I read this story, I could not stop comparing the various plots and characters to the Bourne movies with Matt Damien.

Well conceived but antiseptic
It will be interesting to see what progress the author makes in his next effort. This was a complex, well conceived story but the main character especially was just dull. There was no texture, no lust - just actors going through the motions in more of a puppet show than a real life story. Less plot machinations and more passion might result in an additional star.
