Color Pulse By Loreal, Concentrated Non-Permanent Hair Color Mousse, Funky Purple, 1 Ea

Funky Purple is not Purple at all....not even a little bit. It is ORANGE and my lighter hair turned kinda, sorta, browny orange, but that is NOT what I wanted for my hair. I was used to ordering the Magenta. I love this product and am so sorry they discontinued it. It was easy to use and lasted for a month or two...and everyone complimented the color when I used the Magenta.I won't buy the FUNKY PURPLE because it is really ORANGE....warning.

Permanently left my hair tinged orange. It was a fun color at first though.

I remember when this first came out when I was a teenager. I tried this one and the chilled plum. So I though since I like the chilled plum that I would give this one a try but it didn't show up on my hair like I though it would. I would say that my hair is like medium brown and this color didn't really show up like the chilled plum. So I would say that maybe if you are blonde or lighter this may work better for you. If your hair is my color I would recommend the chilled plum. But on the plus side I like how soft my hair was after I washed it out. Its easy to use if your like me and make a mess with the other box hair dyes.

I love Color Pulse! I actually emailed the Loreal company and asked why they removed with from the market. They sent a response saying,"The product wasn't high enough in demand to bring it back." -.- DISAPPOINTING! Apparently people want 25 shampoos or permanent :/ Anyways, Funky Purple didn't change my hair purple at all. I put this on my natural light brown hair and the box showed a lighter purple but it turned out burgundy red. I'm still happy with the color but I was hoping for the dark purple I saw in the picture. I guess the people who have darker brown/black hair would get those results. I still love Color Pulse and if you have a darker hair color I'm sure you'll get the purple shown.

I've been using Color Pulse for the past six or seven years. Funky Purple and Chill Plum are my two favorite colors for my hair ( dark brown). It gives a gorgeous but subtle shine (if you're looking for a dramatic change and you have darker hair this is not the dye for you, it doesn't have any bleach or lightening agents so it layers color over your natural color) which fades out very naturally and evenly so you don't have to retouch roots.The products is very easy to use, leaves hair soft and manageable and even smells good. Don't condition your hair before applying to help the dye adhere better. I find that while the color is brightest for only the first week or two its definitely noticeable especially in sunlight for two or three months afterwards.

shipping was pretty quick, I have long thick hair, it was recomended to use 2 bottles, but one covered my dark brown hair just fine. left on for 30 min. nice burgundy/purpleish tint. the total price of the product is 10.64 (price plus shipping) I have always liked the product, its a shame it was discontinued in stores, still I think 10.00 is a little steep for such a small container, I used to purchase ths at big lots for 1.50
