Great product, easy to use.
Great product! This does everything I hoped it would. Setup was easy with an app. Then you just wear the ring, it powers up when you put it on and the data gets stored in the ring. It recharges via micro USB. You can view live stats on the ring or in the app. You can also open the app later and the data automatically downloads to give a history of oxygen levels and heartbeat along with a motion. It allowed me to see when oxygen levels go lower and for how long. It has alarms if your oxygen drops below a level that you select. The ring can vibrate a lot, a little or not at all. The app can also sound an alarm if you want that. I’m close to getting an advanced CPAP so I can now see charts for before it’s usage and then during use once I have my machine.

Impressive Wearable monitor. Great computer and Smartphone Apps. Easy to use and valueable Reports.
"The Wellue O2 Ring is easy to use and helps check oxygen and heart rates while you sleep. It vibrates if your oxygen is too low, so you can stay safe. The battery lasts all night, and the app lets you see and share reports with your doctor. People like it because it’s comfy, works well, and has awesome customer service if there’s a problem. If you have sleep or breathing issues, this ring might be really helpful!" THis can be valuable if you have aging parents are concerned with Oxygen saturation in the blood. Or are suspicious of undiagnosed sleep apnea. Reports are simple to understand and can lead to awareness of potential concerns.Wearing the ring on your finger takes a couple of days to become aware of the extra size to prevent from bumping it accidentally. Charging and data sync from the provided USB is a breeze.

Good device. Poor software.
I've used it for about 2 weeks now. It does what it promises, but I may decide to return it if the software keeps letting me down. It's comfortable to wear and I love the ability to set the alarm levels and the alarm vibration strength. The screen is easy to read and I like being able to check the time while using it, although it does lose a few minutes every week if you don't sync the time with the app. The battery needs to be charged daily, and while it does seem to take a while that is ok.My complaint is the lack of software maintenance. The current version of the Windows OS Insight Pro software is v1.8 and it has been two years since it was updated. After just three downloads via the included USB cable, the software no longer sees the device. I was able to get the device to talk to the Android app, but I was really hoping to just use the Windows app.Another thing that has started happening is for the alarm to start going off non-stop as soon as I put on the device, as it initially thinks I have a racing heart rate until it gets a bit of data and realizes the rate was normal all along. If that keeps happening, I may decide to return it, as that initial alarm is unnerving and chews through a bit of battery.Overall, I'm a bit torn, as I got it at a good discount and the low-O2 alarm works, helping to avoid groggy wakeups.Update 2/14: I did not return the ring and have continued to use it. The current version of the Android app works well for me, but for reasons unjustified, location MUST be enabled to sync with the ring (not just bluetooth). On the plus side, the ring has stopped alarming when I put it on.Battery life has been a bit inconsistent - I suggest recharging daily. The motion detection is pretty weak (it isn't sensitive enough to detect sleep cycles, let alone restlessness).I still think it's worthwhile and still 4/5 stars.

An Impressively Improved Sleep Monitoring Device
I'm an experienced user of the Wellue wristband-ring system and have been generally quite happy with its performance, but I'm pretty impressed by some of the design changes in Wellue's "02 Insight Ring." First, ease of use: the old system required attaching both the hard drive wristband (to your wrist) and then inserting the ring's chord into the wristband hard drive. The O2 Ring reduces that slightly cumbersome procedure to one step – simply slip on the ring! In other words, they've collapsed the ring and wristband into one device. This design change has more than a simplifying effect, I suspect. Perhaps more importantly, it reduces by half the wear at the critical hard drive connection. Anything that reduces the number of times you need to insert a USB-type connection is a good thing. Eventually, as anyone who works with computers knows, those kinds of connections are generally the first problem you encounter as the connection tends to grow weaker with use and usually at some point simply dies. The only connection you make now is from the O2 Ring to a charging device or your computer. I just hook it up to my computer and leave it attached to recharge from my computer, reducing the connection process further.Another design improvement is the display sensor. In the wristband-ring design, the wristband display of oxygen levels and pulse rate is motion-triggered: that is, a shake of your wrist will cause the display to light up. Not a bad thing, but that means the display is being constantly triggered as you move around at night. I'm not sure this causes wear and tear on the unit, but it surely shortens the battery life. The 02 Ring, however, isn't motion-sensitive: you need to "swipe" the ring surface to summon the display. Kind of like how you open an old Kindle. So you only see the display when you choose to.Yet another improvement I noticed was in the ring band itself. In the original wristband-ring configuration the elastic rubber ring has a tendency to wear and break at some point. In the 02 Ring model, the elastic rubber ring has been reinforced! Excellent preventative measure, in my opinion.Otherwise, the function remains the same. Just plug the O2 Ring into your computer or use a phone app (I use my computer) to get a reading on your night's sleep. It is totally compatible with the simple and nice function of the software. My computer already had the software from the wristband-ring model, and it worked perfectly with the new 02 Ring. I don't actually remember installing the software – other than that it was easy to do. The Ring's brightness, display, and other features can be adjusted to your taste (see manual). I have yet to read the manual; the Ring is so intuitive that I was able to easily use it right out of the box!Though I'm not a "medical professional," I've devoted considerable time into investigating methods of improving my health, and what's more basic to health than sleep? If you snore or wake up feeling headaches or fatigue, you owe it to yourself to monitor what your body does while you sleep. The Wellue system gives you a clear picture of your heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and motion throughout the night. It takes the guesswork out of how you slept. Large plunges in oxygen levels, for example, can spell major problems – and could lead, according to current medical lectures, to stroke and heart disease on top of just not feeling rested and ready to take on your day.I was able to greatly improve my sleep with the Wellue units when combining their information with oxygen therapy at night. For me, Wellue + oxygen concentration machine has made my nights enjoyable again, and I usually wake up feeling refreshed, my brain clear, and ready to take on the day. I wish the same for all of your who suffer from sleep issues.

An awesome and accurate device. My doctor and physical therapist and nurses are all impressed with how accurate it is compared to the units that they used at the hospital. The app works very well, I can wear it for hours without irritation.Battery life is good. Exceeded my expectations. And being able to track history and save it so my care team can look at the information which helps with my care and recovery.
