Product itself looks lovely and is very sturdy. The installation itself was a nightmare. The item is supplied with no instructions at all, and none even online or on the Amazon listing. The plugs (if you can even call them that) supplied are absolutely useless and a pain in the backside as only 20% of them survived being placed into the drilled hole and the screw being drilled in as they either break or warp. Luckily, I had a few proper plugs spare that I had to swap out for the ones provided. The external screw caps also don’t fit over the screws and the internal screw caps once screwed into the wall. They fit before you’ve screwed them in - something I tested prior to installation as another reviewer had noted they didn’t fit, and after testing I assumed they just hadn’t done it correctly - nope! The internal screw caps warp when the screws are screwed in, so the external screw cap no longer fits over the head. Resulting in you having to superglue them on, which if you’re not careful, pulls some of the finish off the caps if a bit of glue seeps out and sticks to your fingers. All in all, a process that should’ve taken no longer than 20 minutes ended up taking over an hour as I figured out what was going wrong - was the hole I drilled too big? Was the screw now too thin? Did I put the internal screw cap on the wrong way? Nope, nope, nope. The mounting hardware supplied is crap and causes nothing but problems. DO NOT buy this product until they fix the issues I’ve mentioned and included instructions. Not worth the hassle until then.

Bought two of these a year ago so I could have one at 3 foot high for the kids and one at 5 foot high for the grown ups. Like other reviews I didn't bother with the supplied fixings and used 6mm rawl 4all plugs and a set of japanned black slot headed screws which look the part and really make them look at least 9x better than the cheap plastic screw caps they came with. So far they've withstood a year of overloading with too many coats and bags, and have been moved a couple of times during renovating and still look as good as day one.

The actual product itself seems pretty sturdy for the price, time will tell on that - I'm a big guy and my coats weigh quite a lot. However, I strongly recommend that you purchase some Red wall plus and screws, (5mm wall plugs, usually red are 5mm but double check) because although it comes with wall plugs (even spares!) they are of very, very low quality. A quick pop to the hardware store and problem resolved. Don't forget, you'll need a drill especially if installing to wall rather than the back of a hollow door, for example.The only reason I voted 1 star on easy of install was because of the wall plugs being inferior. It wasn't actually hard, but very frustrating when the wall plugs bend/break when you're pushing them in.Other than that, at the price, if you don't mind grabbing/have some wallplugs, it's a bargain!

Bought these based on reviews but the items received are quite flexible due to being mounted on a thin metal back plate. I have drilled a third hole in middle of back plate to make the fixing more secure. If your doors are hollow, you need to drill 7mm holes to accommodate the self tapping rawlplugs supplied. After fixing these to 4 doors, I can only add that they are functional but quite ugly. They will be changed for more attractive hooks mounted on wood in the very near future.

Got these to put in my cupboard under the stairs as I was fed up of bags, brushes etc being all over the floor. All essentials now on the wall. I'm assuming they were easy to fit as my husband did it. Only problem he mentioned as rawplugs were a little on the small and flimsy side, but we had some bigger ones so no problem really.
