You get important B12 from milk and red meats. Maybe more I don’t know. I don’t consume milk and not much red meats.I take B12 for brain function. More clarity and less forgetfulness. I hope this helps as is B12 is an important nutrient.

These Sanatogen B12 tablets are a good addition to your daily vitamin and mineral intake, especially if you struggle to maintain your B12 levels.The tablets are very easy to take with water, as they are quite small. They are orange in colour, but don't have any discernible taste.The tub has a child proof lid, so may be difficult to open if you suffer from arthritis.At almost £18 at time of review, they do seem quite expensive, but you do get 180 tablets, which is a 6 month supply at one tablet per day and works out at £3 a month on average, which doesn't seem quite as bad when broken down.

As with most supplements I test I have no idea if they do me any good. Therefore I can only ever give an average rating. They are easy to swallow, well priced and I had no ill effects after taking them. I took them all at two a day and can honestly say I didn’t feel any better for it (or worse).

Small, easy to swallow, and with a dose of 1 per day this bottle gives 6 months supply of an extremely important vitamin. This is suitable for vegetarians and vegans which is a plus for me.Compared with others so readily available this is expensive. Yes, I know it's Sanatogen, a brand most of us are familiar with, but there are others, just as good, and cheaper. Sometimes the high cost of this sort of product puts people off.
