We are the People: The Rise of the AfD in Germany (Haus Curiosities)

I read this short book for a college course on Xenophobia in Contemporary Europe. It was an enlightening read and I recommend this as informative briefing on the newly surging AfD party within Germany. The author Penny Bochum, provides historical context for the formation of the party and discusses the impact of the party on Germany politics. The final few chapters of the book switch from summary to analysis suggesting the normative claim that the AfD power should be curtailed. She discuss the solutions the other parties within the Bundestag have and which would be most effective. I hope to emulate this persuasive writing process myself!
