An excellent replacement for my Beam original.
This replacement product is lighter in weight and has improved flexibility than the original Beam product, which became progressively shorter as it split from use. The tool-end switch that controls the low-voltage signal to the central vacuum unit is a great improvement that eliminates the need to unplug the hose from the wall connector when cleaning is interrupted. We would buy this product again.

safe, none abrasive to furniture surface
We have this in our motorhome. It is a 42 ft DP with a small Dust Devil mounted in the lower basement area. We needed a longer hose to reach completely through out the unit. This works great and the switch to turn off is really nice to have.

Design flaw
The first one had a defect in the handle hose connection. The company was quick and responsive to send a new one, but it does the same thing. Looses suction if turned certain way- seems to have a design flaw
