Everyone who works with fabric or yarn - best thing!
An owner of a yarn shop recommended this product to me years ago. I never realized the cause of my dry fingers and painful skin cracks around my nails - especially in the winter She taught me that the yarn or fabric I work with so often actually absorbs my own skin's moisture and dries them out. Makes sense, but never occurred to me. She gave me a sample bottle of Gloves in a Bottle and I've never looked back. This lotion, yes, moisturizes and does what ordinary moisturizers so - BUT - where it differs is that it coats your hands and fingers like a non-greasy "glove" so that the yarn or fabric doesn't rob your own skin of moisture. It feel just like regular lotion, especially once it's on and dried. Nothing weird or sticky. It's fabulous and it works. No more cracked skin or super dry hands.

This stuff is amazing for the nose area during head colds!
I bought Gloves in a Bottle originally because I was going to be doing a lot of tile work and I knew interacting with caustic materials like mortar and grout would be rough on my hands, and heard this was the stuff to get. Sure enough, it is!Love how when it goes on and it doesn't feel greasy like so many other lotions. Give it a few seconds and it's like it's not even there, but all the dryness is gone for the day.I used it a lot my last head cold around my nose and lips where the constant assault by tissues had dried it out and made everything red and angry- this was the best thing I've used for that ever- it doesn't sting, the smell is neutral and dissipates quickly, and it lasts commendably. No side effects such as acne or extra oiliness that I noticed as a result.Anyway, it's basically replacing all the lotion in our house now. Super effective and does what they say it does. Highly recommended!

May be slightly misleading
So, day one, itās a really good very fast moisturizer for dry areas that doesnāt leave grease and is perfect for that application, but Iām not sure I buy that it doesnāt wash off (since some of it even flakes off when it dries), and it doesnāt seem to make a difference to nitrile gloves agitating the problem spots on my hands.I was sort of expecting it to form a gluelike film, from how itās advertised and from some of the pictures in other reviews. Iāll see how well it works over time.

Wow!! Just WOW
Check out the catcher mitts on my hubs!!His hands for as long as I can remember have been GOD awful In the colder months from working. I mean split, cracked, bleeding he was always pissing and moaning about them hurting. Nothing worked.. at least not for the long haul.. Christmas I got him this stuff and he can no longer scratch my back with a swipe over me.. heās not bleeding, not sore, - still miserable but for other reasons than his handsš§.. lol- this product works very well!

Loved it at first try - but the jury is out.
The first time I tried this it seemed perfect. Then I washed my hands for the second time since putting it on and it sloughed off - (not sure if my skin sloughed off with it). When I reapplied it my hands started to sting. I bought it because my hands were very dry and raw from winter and washing dishes. Maybe they were too irritated to begin with to use this? I don't know but I went back to using petroleum jelly and white cotton gloves at night instead. Might try this again once hands are healed. Here is my original review:First lotion I've tried that is just right. Not greasy or sticky, very soothing, and doesn't sting my dry, cracked irritated skin. Absorbs well, makes my hands softer and seems to last through handwashing too.
